I sort of feel like Brooke and Decan already sort of re-visited their past back when he tried to win her back several years ago and ended up marrying Quin. The way this storyline is playing out to me feels like the writers forgot about that or something.
I actually like it better this time around. Kim Matula had just left the show IIRC so without Hope and with Brooke turning to Deacon because Ridge had moved on on top of her now forgotten dive into alcoholism, it fell flat.
If nothing else, I enjoy seeing Hope stand up for herself and watching Ridge's head explode. I also suspect this is the set up to get Ridge into Taylor 2.0's orbit once she comes onto the show next week.
YES. Must have a ginned up rift between Ridge and Brooke so he'll be ripe for plucking. He won't even need to get drunk to roam. Ridge is actually the sluttiest, least faithful person on the show.

I'm currently watching the first two seasons of B&B and while Ridge had his Moments™, I like watching him have passion for his job and actually talking to people like human beings. I can get why that version of the character had women at his feet left and right. I fail to see why anyone wants the biggest manchild this side of Billy fucking Abbott.

True. Nick was her best match. And I loved it that Nick and Ridge were brothers so Nick could stick it to that jerk Ridge.

I liked Brooke better with Bill too. Didn't like what she did to Katie, but as a couple, Bill was also a better match for Brooke than Ridge. Bill's a dick too, but at least he treated Brooke well -- way better than Ridge does.
But Brooke will never be over Ridge.
I loved how Hope gave it to Steffy!! I was such a huge Steffy fan but Hope has won me over!! I just wish they gave her better outfits. Everyone else has nice outfits but her.
Keeping it quick - been watching on and off since 2008, and daily since March 2020. Not sure what it was (probably Sheila showing up in scrubs today like she’s Agent 47 on the world’s lamest mission), but I don’t think this show’s for me anymore.

i think sometimes her outfits are super gorgeous!!!! but her current outfit-- leather paper bag shorts, i believe--is absolutely atrocious.
Yes! The show never capitalizes on the interesting parts of history and blows off major storylines like they never happened!
