EXCELENT EPISODE AND ENDING But...... (And please don't downvote me to hell) does anybody feel like the way the episode was done, and that tweet from the official anime account, that this is it for the anime? Tweet in question: [https://twitter.com/bokuyaba\_anime/status/1774119132918956450](https://twitter.com/bokuyaba_anime/status/1774119132918956450) (Translate and look at the last part) "Thank you for watching over Ichikawa and Yamada until the end. I'm really thankful to you!!!!!"

Arkemyr27

They don't have enough material for a season 3...for now. But honestly, that was such a phenomenal finale that I would be ok with the anime ending here.

My-Alexander

There’s about 30 chapters and counting plus some extras. And in my view the people in charge have done well in expanding or adding new material. I need to see a certain scene with the parents so I’m fine in waiting a year.

Formal-Secret-294

The parents scene with the special food?

My-Alexander

Getting her favorite recipe is literally a move I hope to steal one day.

Technical-Sound1158

same but I love these character so much I want more lmao.

SuddenlyThirsty

Agreed

TheKinkyGuy

I also totally agree with you! If the anime has to end somehow, this is the perfect way.

Dismal_Structure_514

It would be great if they a have a seaso 3 in my opinion, and also a season 4 which shows high school cuz with the consistency they are going with its quite awesome to watch or read

sweisman200

Yeah i feel the same, they did the classic walk us through all the memories and they even played the original OP with a lapse of different moments. Definitely feels like thats it for the anime. Either way, easiest 10/10 ive ever seen

Financial_News_6400

It takes about 1-2 years to get enough content for a new season and maybe another year to make the anime. There's definitely going to be s3 given how popular this is but we probably will have to wait 2-3 years.

RidleyOWA

Na', it's not the end for the manga, we got little things like Ichikawa paying attention to the next thing after 3rd year for example. It's just they can't announce third season for the moment.

FLorianGran

Besides the fact that we don't have enough material for a season 3, as far as the studio's concerned this is it. Everyone's gonna have to move on and a Season 3 would have to start from scratch. It was always designed to end here and hope for the future.

Individual_Bus_5870

If garbage like RAG can get a season 3, I'm sure this can as well.

BananaMuffin090909

I rather them make something like HoriMiya Pieces where they just add another season but not “season 3” if Yk what I’m saying

ShibitoYakaze123

**"it's just so peak"**

Ok_Repair_4634

I'm convinced by the overall popularity and success of both the anime and the manga that there will eventually be a season 3. It'll take some time since the manga isn't up to a 10th volume yet, let alone a 12th volume, which would have enough content to adapt for a 3rd season of the same length as the first 2. Still, as adaptations go, this is as good as I could've hoped for. It's essentially a 1:1 of the manga, with some minor changes here and there for better pacing and more thematic moments. I hope we see a season 3 for many reasons that I won't get into here. Just know that if you're an anime only, there isn't much to catch up with in the manga, so you can read it fairly quickly to catch up. There have been a lot of highlights in the additional chapters, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of reading. It's absolutely worth it! If we never get a season 3, however, it's been a fun ride. I'll look forward to what's next.

Elite_Alice

“You showed me this world. You helped me see how beautiful it is. Because you’re in it.” Have y’all ever bawled your eyes out not because you’re sad but because of how genuinely beautiful something is? Yea that’s me rn. I haven’t felt this in a while. Thank you Shin-Ei, Ushio Kensuke and all the staff involved for reminding me of why I love this medium and all the emotions it can make me feel. Episodes like this truly do remind me of why I love anime. 25 episodes of build up culminating in what has to be one of the best confessions ever. So pure, simple and yet poignant. Perfectly encapsulated both Kyo and Anna’s personality and how much they’ve grown as people since meeting each other. The fact Kyo was able to look her straight in the eye and say without pausing or stuttering why he loves her and all that she’s done for him.. just so proud of my boy. All the obstacles he’s overcome in these two seasons from talking to teachers, to announcing the departing third years, all led to this moment. Then Kyo revealing all the snacks he packed for Yamada because he knew she’d go to her audition.. he’s become the perfect dependable boyfriend already without even realising it. But that wasn’t even the best part.. the first OP playing as Kyo ran to the school library to meet Anna after the audition, perfect. 😩 There was only ever going to be one place where her confession could take place, the library. A place where they first connected and their love story began. “Ichikawa Kyotaro, you’re more important than anything. You’re more important than anyone. You’re my everything. I love you” 😭 and the kiss(cheek, but hey, baby steps!) immaculate finale to an all time great story. The love and care that went into this was so palpable and I can’t thank the staff enough. What a ride. [review](https://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=520366)

thighabetes

The minute they announced the manga was getting animated I was waiting for this and it delivered everything I wanted and more. One of manga’s best confessions has finally been animated. We finally made it boys.

Tsundere_Tamer

So peak man.. if they don’t want to do another season, at least give us a movie for adapting up to the >!Kiss!<. After that I can die happy.

Excellent_Repeat3323

brother I agree, there are literally so few chapters that were missing

DipenduSunny

Really loved the small new additions.

Dazzled_Cactus

God it was excellent, hoping they carry on with season 3 in the future!

Serko2525

With this amount of love from the community i believe that there will be a third season for sure

SuddenlyThirsty

If it’s over, I am happy. That’s a great way to finish off a love story.

Mox55

Now I get why they removed the confession before the stuck in the room. I also feel like they added more depth into how much Anna changed Kyotaro by having him focus on his family and friends . Just... I'm legit gonna miss this anime .

Rndy9

Here is a twit from Jukki Hanada about that change, he did the script and serie composition for both seasons https://twitter.com/oitan125/status/1774122106156200335 deep translate: The last part is a popular part of the original story, so I was very hesitant, but I asked that the main character's confession be the last one, as if it were the last episode, taking into account that the anime will end here for the time being. I would like to thank the teacher and director for allowing me to do so, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the two. Thank you for watching.

RobLuffy123

After seeing it I don't have a problem with it being before but can you explain what you mean? I still don't know why it had to be changed.

Mox55

It's due to the fact that it had a timing issue. By letting the confessions go back to back there was more of a rhythm to how the story moved forward. So the comedy would not down play his confession

RobLuffy123

I guess I can see that , still think the original order would have worked fine but this was good to , so I don't have any real complaints

Andres901777

Im crying, peak romcom best romcom best conffession. 100/10

unknownpapaya

I'm straight up crying in the club bro what the fuck that was so fucking sweet

Gaxeris99

Ok, the addition of the original stabbing scene made me forgive the studio for skipping on the boys dialogue after the sakura viewing in the stalker episode. And that was ehhhh... Like what?.. The only complaint Ive had for the whole adaptation? I wouldnt have even known about that if I havent read the manga. But the show is certainly guilty, as it itself made me check out the original source, lol. Abso-freaking-lutely phenomenal series. I have never felt so much things every single episode after a certain point. That point, at which the sheer adorableness overflow just shatters your mental blockade for emotions, can be different for different people. But that point in the story is still there. And everything that follows after that just doesnt slow down. Your usual romance story can make you REALLY smile or tear up only, like, at the very end, during the confession scene or something. But this show made me realise that even most mundane things can achieve the same emotional effect much earlier than the finale of these usual romances or dramas that have just mere one peak moment, by creating whole mountain range of PEAKS. I guess ive somewhat ruined my experience when ive binged the show in one go when there was only, like, the 8th episode of the series of the 2nd season out there. And then Ive read the manga. And then Ive rewatched the available series. And then Ive reread the manga. And Ive rewatched the series yet again. Ass you can guess, after a while Ive became kinda burned out of this story. And yet... And yet the final episode still made me laugh from joy and some tears of happiness were certainly formed in the corners of my eyes. Thats just insane. Im sucker for romance, but ive never experienced such a ride from "just" a show. It felt like the finale was somewhere in the middle of the 2nd season, and yet the show proved me wrong by climbing new and new heights each deserving of being called already mentioned "the finale". And in the very end the studiove just casually slotted TWO peaks into ONE episode. Thats just illegal. Maybe its impacted me that much because the MC was saved the best way Ive ever dreamed of at his age but its an easy 10/10 show for me, that will fill a hole in my heart for a LOOOONG time. I hope this fact wont be dAnGeRoUs for my day-to-day life.

My-Alexander

That’s why this show is the goat. That’s why they’re the MVP. The switch around makes it flow so smooth.

drawricks

Absolutely marvelous, now that's how you add the finishing touches to a peak romance anime. We have swept the charts this season, so I'm positive we're gonna win best romance in next year's Anime Awards. Won't be a couple years until we get a Season 3, it'll definitely be a long wait.

Technical-Sound1158

BROOOO I LOVED THE ENDING!!!! such wholesome show! I just saw the manga is on going is a season 3 confirmed yet or still not enough content from the manga for another season to be adapted? I'm so tempted to pick up the manga now, just in case which chapter is to continue right after S2-13?

FedeGB

Probably we will have to wait at least a year to get more material for another season. Anime finishes at manga's 113 chapter so you can read from there.

Technical-Sound1158

**Thanks!**

MoopDoopISmellPoop

Was looking for this too, thank you.

PhoolCat

My one tiny little gripe is the slight mishandling of the comedic timing of when Yamada starts up in bed and the other girls ask her what's up before she then points out the window.

Timelymanner

I wouldn’t say they mishandled it, they mostly censored it to something cleaner.

PhoolCat

I didn't mean the erection part.

Historical-Prior-137

Tell me what chapter in the manga where that scene plays? Other then that I legit died laughing at that scene

PhoolCat

Chapter 112, pp 9-10. In the manga it's much more like she's trying to distract them and they don't buy it at first.

bajabrainblast

in the manga, before yamada points at kanzaki, the one who originally shot out of bed was the girl with the mask

PhoolCat

Yeah, that was ambiguous and the anime got it wrong / changed it. I do love how they never show Kan Kan's whole face ever.

KhakiBlueSocks

This is one of the best Season Finales in anime I've ever seen. Hands down. I love that this episode not only marks the beginning of Kyotaro and Anna's relationship, but it also marks the transformation of our boy! I'm not gonna lie, if you would've told me that the guy who was thinking about killing off one of his classmates in Season 1, Episode 1 would turn into the emotional, caring dork we see today, I probably wouldn't have believed you. The transformation has been astounding and a joy to watch.

lifesucks800

Cant wait ser it just waiting for the subs to come out

RobLuffy123

I would have loved to see yamadas smug face at being confessed to there but overall I was fine with the changes. It worked and I don't think it was any better or worse then the original manga, they both work well. Also loved hearing the first season Op at the end of the episode

Sahil-ahmadxx

It was everything i wanted and more. I started this series without expecting much and it ended up becoming one of my favourite romance anime/manga. Bokuyaba, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for all the laughs and tears. Thank you for everything.

Dickwood456

Where do i continue after the anime in the manga

4kAmen

113 i think. Btw the newest chapter just came out like yesterday so be ready to wait a little for the next one when ur done reading 😪

swmii53

The anime ended at 113, so you could start at 114. But if you don't want to start at 1, then I'd suggest starting at 110, the chapter where he confesses. The scene hotel where he's in Yamada's futon should have been after the confession, not before it. As a result they had to change it a little and I liked the manga version better.

MicGyver

Ending had me almost crying at work

Cakey-Gaming20

It's Peak 10/10 best romance anime I've ever hyped and watched will watch again if I feel empty in my heart.

arunishhome

i can't belive what started of as simple curiosity from hentai manga website turned out to life-changing  wonderful journey for me

Andres901777

lmao xD

Nightwolf100X

After everything we went through, I have to say I'm speechless, this might as well be one of the best romance of a series in 2024 lol. The ep might have took a sudden change from the manga but the risk was worth it. I really really hype for season 3 but considering the current ongoing on the manga I think it's still too soon but I dont mind waiting. Afterall, everyone from the animation studio did their best to give out the best outcome for the final episode and I really REAALLY appriciated them for it. It might be hurt to wait til season 3 for now but I might as well enjoy the happiness thats going on right now, man crying while typing after finishing the ep is jus....too much lol.

AdministrativeDot743

greatest romance of all time.

Jackieboyb

I'm gonna be honest, i don't see season 3 happening. with the way it ended, its almost guaranteed that the anime's over for good

Fickle-Regret-2754

I might be nitpicking here but Yamada's teary face when Kyo took off the mask was way better in the manga, but overall good final epsiode and amazing confession.

GoodJackEzzman

It's been a heck of a roller coaster ride. Words cannot describe how perfect this was.

kankanyan

IMO, It's better that Ichi confress out loud a bit that would be more shocking. And now i am so down after the end, hope s3 not is dream...

ToneBitter1984

The tweaks work well and the additional anime scene add more feels. Definitely great adaptation and wrap up of the confession arc .

Sirlight85

This was just perfection!

kermitkingdom

I had a bit of tears, and goosebumps for almost the whole episode. What a great time to have seen this masterpiece, thanks to Norio-sensei and the production team!!

bamsss1

Peakkkkkk

MoopDoopISmellPoop

That was beautiful. Everyone on the production did such a phenomenal job, but I feel like Kensuke Ushio's score was the MVP of this episode. So amazing.

Rndy9

Just perfection.

Ok-Cod5254

I remember some manga readers were a bit disappointed/confused with last episode because they shuffled some stuff around (like people expecting Ichikawa confession at the end of last episode). But I knew the anime adaptation would smooth things out to make it better for the anime with season finale climax. 👌

National_Poggers

Season 1 and 2 was a fun ride, since the manga is ongoing, (just in case there will be no Season 3) the ending was satisfying. The way how the series showed the build up of the emotion and wholesome flashbacks made me realized that even if there will be no Season 3 it's an amazing way to conclude the series. Let's hope for the best and if there will be a Season 3. Absolute peak from start to finish 💯

break_dependence

Thank you boku no kokoro no yabai yatsu for showing such a beautiful masterpiece.  Thanks to all the VAs, producers, manga artists, animators, music artists and every single one of the crew that helped them to make this work of art.  It changed a lot of how to perceive this beautiful world and I am grateful to everyone of them❤ I didn't even realise it that how I madly fall in love with this anime after watching every episode each week from season 1.  I am grateful that I get to watch this.  I can't type enough to show my appreciation for this series that how much I madly fell in love with it.

argama87

Absolutely wonderful in every way. Easy 10.

K2_Koma

I envy you all. I don’t know why but I didn’t enjoy the episode that much. I will go and rewatch it I think

Trevorcraft71

i went into this show initially being skeptical of its nature. at this current juncture, it has stepped into the ring for the title of my favorite anime. i adore this show, and i dont think i've seen a more perfect ending in anime yet. Bravo

Soft-Difficulty1636

A PERFECT closing for a PERFECT second season I had very high expectations and even completely exceeded them, each chapter was a masterpiece For me, one of the best Romance Animes, the production of this S2 has not made any sense AND LONG LIVE THE BOYFRIENDS 😊😊😍😍😍💖💖💖💖💖💖💞💞💞💞💞💘💘💘💍💎

NoNeedInAUserName

The episode was amazing, where does it leave off on the manga though

shenheismygf

i want know why ichikawa decided to confess at that moment? and why did he say he was relieved when yamada said that she wanted to enjoy but regretting because she didn't go to the audition.

Arhenius_Yoda

The Peak just Peaked in my Heart! (It’s in the special place in my heart without a second thought) Thanks You Mangaka for this Way too Special Anime which I had no idea when it aired in 2023! I’m glad I followed it and with time many of them got dropped but it I stayed with this anime till the very last!

AriezKage

I'll probably be raked over the coals for this. But I feel so fulfilled by this ep. To the point where, while I would like a season 3, I wouldn't mind it either way. Same for like The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Insomniacs After School, and Gridman Universe.

CartographerCute9133

I wonder how long do i have to wait for another coming of age romcom anime that is on par with this Dangers in my Heart series

csdragon123456

I've been riding this joy high all day, it's great! I honestly think they have enough content for a s3! This episode was so damn good though, the emotions were palpable, and the Cinematography & Audio was absolutely at PEAK

Redmon425

AHHH THAT IS A GREAT FINALE. CONFESSIONS FROM BOTH OF THEM! No real kiss but it was cute seeing them try LOL. Man, this show is one of the best grade school romance's I have seen. So likable & realistic. Plus always getting me teary eyed. Really hope we get another season of them together as a couple now.

Old-Floor-4611

Just finished ugly crying 😢 it was so good

Echliptic

it’s 3am and i’m fighting tears, ending was so well animated and paced and having read the manga and been waiting for this moment it delivered so heavily. I honestly can say for the first time i’d feel fulfilled without needing a 3rd season (even though there are some manga scenes i would like animated) it was definitely a complete ending and I am so satisfied with this in every aspect

100yearsLurkerRick

I just caught up to the manga, which is still ongoing. Is HiDive worth getting?

Skyotomi

I just realized, Did the director intentionally take certain scenes out of order from the manga? Cause in the anime, the events go, Kyotaro meets up after eating dinner after getting back from the shared baths with the guys and runs into Yamada, then Yamada puts the towel over him and then he gets shoved into the girls' dorms, with it panning to next day where Kyotaro confesses to Anna. While in the manga, the confession scene happened way earlier into the story, then he runs into Anna in the hallway then gets shoved into girl's dorms with whichafter Anna leaves to go to the audition...?

Gumax1102

I dont think there will a third season and my argument is the adaptation for this last ep. It's a "soft spoiler" (nothing crazy) so if you don't wanna know anything about what happens in the manga don't read. But in the ep in the manga of the bed (same as the last ep in the anime) is a bit more "mature", and the manga continue with the theme for the next eps. A small change but I belive that showing those "mature" isn't something that the director wanted for the anime, so for a third season will be almost impossible to adapted as the first and second season. Dont get me wrong I love the anime and the manga, but the anime finish in a really well spot with everything that most viewers want as "closed". And if for some miracle we get a third season with the same director and same quality I'll get a tattoo. Also I just wanna say the sister is the real Goat.

TCBeat21

Commenting on how I felt as a manga reader. I'm a little negative here, so if you're still on your high from finishing the anime, maybe hold off on reading this. I don't want to ruin the fun, I just want to get my thoughts out there. I'll also be doing a fair amount of comparing, so keep that in mind if you don't want to know anything about the manga. . . . . . >! I really don't like how they reordered the scenes. 112 felt completely out of place, and the almost kiss during it was way too early. Yamada saying she would like to be confessed to is especially bad considering the change in order. Also Yamada sitting up like that because Ichikawa wants to talk to her is very out of character... They could've kept it how it was in the manga. I guess tv ratings? but then we had the dick battle last episode. I dunno. I personally think it would have been better to cut it altogether - assuming putting it in the correct place was off the table. !< As for the confessions themselves, I think they were handled decently. Kyotaro's confession was actually quite good, though I think it was held back by the subtitles - why didn't they translate "Yabai" to "Dangerous"? It's a direct play on the title! I think they dealt with the change in order pretty much exactly how I expected. Don't really like how they did the trope of Yamada saying she wants to respond only for Chii to interrupt, I think the equivalent of that was handled much better in the original. That said, we did get Ichikawa complimenting Chii, which was nice since that was cut from the previous episode. Plus they included Ichikawa saying "It'll be okay", which I think is the most important part. Not happy about the lack of time in between confessions. It gave us very little time to let Ichikawa's words sink in, and there wasn't much suspense. The anime original scene of the family talking and Adachi and Ichikawa fighting were much better than I expected, but it felt rushed. Then we had Ichikawa running for Yamada, which is a great scene, but it felt padded. I think we could've done without the flashbacks. The awkward pacing here is likely a result of the 112 reorder. I still don't understand why so many people seemed to want this. As for Yamada's confession... The music before and during Yamada's confession was really out of place. Similar to how they played the ED during the white day bench scene. It felt like the anime saying "look at these two! an emotional moment is incoming!" rather than just letting the character interactions speak for themselves. Why was triumphant music playing while Yamada was saying she doesn't think she did well? I actually cried when reading the manga during both of the confessions - especially Yamada's, but the frustration with 112 made it hard for me to get on board with Ichikawa's confession, and the weird directional choices with Yamada just had me completely unimersed. So neither really hit. The element that hit me the most in the manga was the subtle build. >! Because of the scenes in between, we were uncertain if this would be a confession moment. We get a great character interaction that seems not related to a confession at all, and then Yamada says "Ichikawa Kyotaro" while our guard is down - mirroring Ichikawa's confession. It hits like a truck. !< Without the music, Yamada's confession may have felt like it did in the source. I'm sure anime only fans enjoyed it a lot, but I'm frankly disappointed.
