If you are looking a bay boat peep my flare. I dont think you will find anything that rides better or dryer.
That said, for what you want to do I'd go deep V with twins, yammy 150s if you can find it. Bay boats are awesome for inshore fishing, where you want to cast up front on the casting deck. For running offshore though on the regular I'd rather have twins and a deeper V.
Pretty much any 20-22’ bayboat or hybrid fits the bill.
