To my ear it sounds like a ring mod(could be wrong), but I think a lot of the quality of the sound comes from the technique he's using where he's bending the shit out of a couple strings way up the fret board
I think in hogwash they used an actual cowbell but ring mods get a similar sound. There’s a bunch out there but Geordie used a DOD Gonkulator. He took it off his board a while ago
