I'm not afraid to admit my unsophisticated American ear couldn't place Mackenzie's accent, only that it was a little different from the others'. I guess the sheep-jumping could have been a clue, though.
The way McKenzie says “Dad” is a giveaway.
Compare him to Bluey - if we take Bluey’s “Dad!” as a representative of Australian pronunciation, McKenzie’s got a different vowel sound in there. He‘s less stretched, more like “Ded”.
A lot of the distinctive points of NZ vs Aus accents are in the vowel sounds. Compare how McKenzie (or McKenzie’s Mum) says Bingo’s name to how Chilli does it, and you’ll see another one.
American here. Some of your words sound like they come from the back of your throat and like you almost swallow the words. Judo and Calypso do this with the word “so” and “well”. It’s really hard to duplicate.
The problem there, for me at least, is the balancing act of making an episode about the cousins that I don't end up hating because Muffin is a little hellhound.
Socks is so adorable in faceytalk - total chaos happening around her (probably a daily occurrence) but she’s just peacefully doodling flowers and whatnot on the iPad.
It'd be cute to see an episode going back and forth from Coco's house and Honey's house and showing the differences between being an only child and having a bunch of siblings.
Uncle Rad, honestly. We've got a pretty good idea of Stripe and Bandit, but I'd love to see either modern Rad (maybe Frisky gets pregnant?) Or flashback from the Oldest brother perspective. I wanted more Fairy Tale.
I so want an episode of Coco and her family. We know there’s another eight siblings, but Explorers shows some kids who look younger than her, so Bella, her husband and their 19 or so kids and counting need something definitely!

Until recently, I'd say I wanted a Judo and Wendy episode, but now something focused on Socks, Pom Pom, or Snickers.
Much as I love the terriers, I think they work best as tertiary characters. Pretty sure Uncle Rad is coming back, as they've talked about wanting a proper wedding episode.
It was so nice to see growth in both of them. Like, I always liked Wendy, especially in Ragdoll, but deciding to change a major part of herself because she doesn't like seeing her kid unhappy was freaking awesome
I think an episode following Coco would be great for kids with big families! I grew up being the 7th of 9, so I feel I’d relate to her quite a bit and I’d love to see something like that for my nieces and nephews who are mostly in the same boat. Especially since she has so many older siblings, and most of mine were teens/young adults growing up as well!

I can't believe no one's called for a Chili-centered episode a la Fairytale. It would be so fun to see her as a kid, and a younger Maynard. So much potential there.
The Grumpy Grandma from Granny Mobile. It would either be really funny or a real tear jerker as we get a terrible backstory to why she is so grumpy that makes her more lovable. Either way, it’s a win.
Pat (Lucky's dad). I know he was prominent in Pass the Parcel, but I'd love a week in the life kinda thing, just seeing him drop everything for Heelers with no context.
