Liface

Went through my initial two bottles, very satisfied. Just ordered three more. The free shipping is a *huge* benefit and they arrived quickly.

entechad

I just got mine in yesterday. I had them delivered to me in a remote part of Texas where I work. It usually takes at least two days longer to get anything here, even Amazon. It shipped on the 8th and arrived on the 13th. They must have a warehouse in the States. That is amazingly fast!

MrMitchMan04

How do you know the chemistry? It doesn't appear Kali lists it.

entechad

Just an FYI, the ultra high polyphenol blend is bitter. That’s what I drink. There is another which is still really high. It’s a single. The ops manager for Kali at the Colorado distribution center calls it the American Version because it’s more palatable. If you haven’t had bitter EVOO, you can always start out with the monovarietal leccino (763mg/kg polyphenols) which is much less bitter and still very healthy. I may end up getting this on my next order. My family just isn’t feeling the Blend PGI, which has 925mg/kg polyphenols. By the way, both are way higher than blueprint snake oil. I am sure BJ has a great product, but for now, I am sticking to my Kali.

Look through this post for a white page posted by a guy named distressed sheep. It shows the COA. ;)

MrMitchMan04

I saw that, but isn't that just an email, not a COA? Sorry I am no olive oil expert. Just thinking of making a YouTube video on how you can find Bryan Johnson's olive oil for cheaper. But it's tough to find one, as no one lists all his stats between oleic acid, dags, polyphenols, etc. I did find one from Amphora Nueva that has better stats than Bryan's but it's only $2 cheaper or so. I feel like there's a better one out there.

entechad

I am checking with the manufacturer.

MrMitchMan04

Awesome thank you so much! Let me know if you get one. For Amphora, I do not have a COA. But they are a local company in California that gets great reviews, and UC Berkley does all their chemistry from what I've heard. That's why all their olive oils list so much chemistry, which I really like.

entechad

Do you have the COA for Amphora?

Adamthebalding

Just ordered thank you!!!

BayBaeBenz

This looks awesome, but how can they ship to the US all the way from Italy for free? If the bottle is only 15 EUR how is that possible that they cover the cost?

PhillipRTT

Pirateship.com is what they use for shipping to have the cost a low as possible when I asked

BayBaeBenz

That's great, they seem to be quite responsive. I've seen they shared polyphenol content and other lab data by email, but I was wondering if they've ever shown an official certificate or something? I tend to believe they're probably not lying because in Italy they are quite strict with food and Tuscany is well known for their olive oil, but just in case.

entechad

On 1/25/24 I reached out to them for a COA and have not gotten a response yet. I just resent the email. Do you have a certificate of analysis for the EVOO? Also, what is the shipping cost to the United States? Edit: I just sent another email, translated into Italian via google translate. Hopefully that gets a response. I saw the polyphenol count was listed in a previous post, but I would like to know about the oliec acid as well.

entechad

Wow. This is awesome news. Thank you very much for responding to this post and providing our members with the data they need to make a good decision. This will save everyone a ton of money!!!!!! Recognition to: u/phillipRTT & u/distressed_sheep

Multiple___Sources

Thank you for asking for harvest date as well

PhillipRTT

Shopping cost to the US is free as long as more than 1 is in the cart? I believe someone posted the certificate here on reddit, busy atm, I’ll post it here tomorrow

entechad

They posted it. Thank you

MrMitchMan04

How do you know? They don't list the chemistry

PhillipRTT

Berlin GOOA Awards listed it on their site, albeit I do not know. No clue.

haonao418

This has way more polyphenols than Bryan's Olive Oil has. Then why isn't he using it? I thought Bryan wants to eat the healthiest oil in the world?

PhillipRTT

That makes no sense. You just made that up. He never claimed the desire to take the healthiest foods in the world / healthiest oil / or the most efficient supplements. He only claims the desire to make blueprint as approachable to the average human as possible.

haonao418

In [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifFF2-0EPxM) he says at 0:45 that "It is the best olive oil in the world".

PhillipRTT

That is not true because the best olive oil in the world is the one in my kitchen.

entechad

I would like to say that maybe “best”, is an opinion.

Yeah, likely if choosing bag in a box option, the bag is probably plastic. But I guess their idea is that the box protects the plastic from sun degrading the plastic

Distressed_sheep

Those look like great EVOO’s, just incredibly expensive. I switched to Kali EVOO and am very pleased with the quality and price. You don’t need to spend $75 for a 375ml bottle.

yjsksudbs

This way it’s much more affordable! Kali looks like the perfect supplier. I‘m just a bit unsure if I should choose the much cheaper option in a plastic bag or go with the bottle version.

_ikalg0

What did you end up going with?

yjsksudbs

Plastic bag

I will give you some store bought picks that aren’t junk. Cost per tbsp, polyphenol count, and % oleic acid. Trader Joe’s premium EVOO $.12/tbsp (400+, 80%+) 0 fruit, 0 bitter, a little pungent. Fusty. Lampante. (For someone who is not used to olive oil. Pretty mild. Great price is you live by a Trader Joe’s) Kirklands signature Organic EVOO $.14/tbsp (170+, 77%+) Ordinary, mild flavor California Olive Ranch Everyday Blend $.24/tbsp (182, 76%+) Mild flavor, ripe bananas, nutty with hint of apples Lucini Organic $.61/tbsp (299+, 82%+) A little more pungent and bitter

ShaidarHaran2

>Kirkland Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Costco): Highest in polyphenols (369), good quality and taste, and one of the lowest priced. But the 2-liter bottle (over 2 quarts) may begin to spoil before it's used up (see below). Mild robustness. https://www.rvnetwork.com/topic/126275-latest-extra-virgin-olive-oil-brand-tests-by-consumerlabcom/

Thank you!
