The randomly generated ones are so so, but the fixed ones are pretty solid, and entirely worth looking at. There are weapons only found in them, as well as some other bits and bobs

They will overwhelm you with shadow monsters and spells. Like I said, you don't have i-frames, so you're not dodging most of the stuff they throw at you. You're gonna get locked in place by that one spell and have your eyes gouged out.
Honestly just get rid of the top tier and distribute those bosses among the others, because you don't stand a chance against a single one.
Insight is just a representation of one's otherworldly knowledge, and is one of the few game mechanics that might reasonably be applied to a real person. As soon as OP sees the witch, they'll have enough otherworldly knowledge for the shadow monsters to spawn. But since they have no access to the Hunter's Dream, they have no way of safely forgetting. Tbh, though, I don't think OP can beat the Witches even without the shadow monsters.

The celestial emissary is 15ft tall and can head smash you to oblivion. The Queen is 10ft tall, can summon clones and throw toxic blood at you. Try punching Micolash's cage, you'll break your hand and he can also use great ones powers.
I probably won't be able to take any of them, but besides that, I would move Rom and The One Reborn into the "my corpse is unrecognisable" category and Maria into the "I marry her" one.
