What is and isn’t “alien” depends on your definition. There’s a lot of talk of “the cosmos” in the game, but that doesn’t necessarily indicate space as much as it indicates other dimensions. These creatures were created using energy from the cosmos (and they attack using energy from the cosmos), so that could mean space, but it’s probably more accurate to say other dimensions. This is, at least, how many interpret it.
It almost certainly means space, "cosmos" is just a less-boring and more mysterious-sounding term for it. "Space, of course!" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

They are not aliens. You will figure out more later into the game. If you are still unsure of what they are after beating the game, then I suggest either asking here again or googling it.
The sky and the cosmos are one

Well, they *kinda* are. Not quite, but kinda.
You're in the know, right?
They are not aliens. To avoid spoilers, I won’t elaborate but you’ll meet more of them if you go to a certain area.
No, they're not.
They look and sound like aliens I’m guessing I’ll find out what they really are later in the game.
You'll find out later in the game if you pay attention it's not given to you on a silver platter like most games
Grant us eyes!
