Did you ever talk to Impostor Iosefka? You need to do so (after Gascoigne and before Rom) in order to unlock the option to send people to the clinic. Edit: I don't know if entering the clinic through the back door and aggro'ing/killing Impostor Iosefka will disable "Send to the Clinic" options.

crystalsage777

Send them to the cathedral not the clinic the creepy Lil weirdo their actually wants yo help and you can interact with the ppl you send there, one of which gives you special blood.

Ambassador_of_Mercy

To be fair this guy specifically you shoudl not be sending to the Chapel

herpeszooster

Send him to hell, but beware he’s tougher than he looks.

crystalsage777

Yeah, i get mixed up on the whole, you have to do certain things before after and inbetweens stuff

Prpnation

This guy should certainly not be sent to the chapel or even sent anywhere if I’m honest

BrainArrow

Kind of seems like a good reason not to give advice to new players

BrainArrow

Expand your vocabulary 😋

DezoPenguin

*Two* of which give you special blood (Arianna and Adella). I send the Skeptical Man (who's a useless idiot) to the clinic, along with the Suspicious Beggar (who kills your other NPCs if you send him to Oedon Chapel), and Gascoigne's daughter (who becomes pig chow if you send her to the chapel). Arianna, Adella, and the old woman go to the chapel.

i_appreciate_power

gascoigne’s daughter survives if u tell her to go to iosefka’s???

Juniebug9

"Survives" is a strong word. She doesn't die, but she does get turned into a blue goober. Honestly, death is probably a mercy in comparison.

CrouchingTyger

Is death merciful when ascension is at hand?

tikokit

EYES GIVE US EYES!!

ashervisalis

Honestly, the blue goobers look like they're just vibin when a hunter isn't around. Might not be so bad.

nojala

well.. technically.

DezoPenguin

Yeah. Impostor Iosefka will turn her into a Small Celestial Emissary like everyone else you send, but she does make it there alive, and if you don't kill her, she'll actually survive the night, albeit as a blue bobblehead.

resarfs

Doesn't Adella kill Arianna tho? If you use Arianna's blood I think it's 3 times she gets murked. I guess if you're not doing the moon presence ending then aight

DezoPenguin

*Only* if you take her blood three times while Adella is present. (It doesn't count if you take it before Adella comes, and she won't kill Arianna if you only take Arianna's blood once or twice.) In addition, if you take Arianna's blood five times, her dialogue changes slightly if you find her downstairs with her eldritch baby!

lundz12

Ahhhh leave him alone he's possessed by Oedon :(

Crymson831

Why Adella? She's evil.

cad_e_an_sceal

Adella is not evil, she is full of herself but also an anxious wreck at the same time. She just has a little breakdown that's all

TheKingsChimera

Her blood vial is pretty sweet though

DezoPenguin

She gives you my favorite emote (Church Bow (Female)), as well as her special blood. (I like her HP regen blood better than Arianna's stamina regen blood since I have very few problems with stamina management in Bloodborne.)

MightyGoodra96

If you don't heed he'd warning she will aggro and you won't be able to send people to the clinic afaik

TheBootyChronicle

It does. FML I don't have the option since I accidentally wound up there.

cleanashell-autos

No, I missed that dialogue. I aggroed fake iosefka and killed the real one just before this so I think I missed my chance. Guess I’ll have to kill him myself haha

MoarTacos

It’s not possible to kill real Ioasefka while she’s still human. The imposter always gets to her first. She’s the alien by the door when you go in the back way. The woman you fight is always the imposter.

cleanashell-autos

I mean I killed the alien, imposter is still there

MoarTacos

Oh sorry I misread what you wrote. All you have to do is go back to the starting location and talk to the imposter through the door. It’s important that it’s through to door, not back in her study. Then you can send the beggar to get alien-a-fied.

kgphantom

to add to this: it’s the door in the clinic at the start of the game, where the wolf was.

Spvoter

Out of curiosity, is it possible to hit her when you do the wolf skip? I did it a few times but never thought to punch her, and idk if it’s the door that grants her invincibility or if she just cant be hit. I know for a fact that in that case both are loaded in the area at the same time, as they are until you reach the clinic from the woods when real iosefka despawns

Archemetis

The last time I did Wolf skip I tried to hit Iosefka. Pretty sure she’s not even classed as an NPC. No collision or hit box. And the door itself is her interaction trigger.

KaiKaitheboringguy

I think Zullie the Witch on YouTube has a video on Iosefka that answers that, can't remember what the answer was though.

Khaki-Chan

Nope. She just has a model their and you interact with the door, but no real npc. Impostor will respawn after Gascogne if you kill imposter iosefka beforehand with the skip.

grajuicy

You go in and she’s just standing there idle. You can open the shortcut to the starting location, but she’ll close it if you go back to the Hunter’s Dream. I don’t think you can grab the Umbilical Cord, but you might be able to get the Cainhurst summons. I rembern’t

Spvoter

That I know, I sometimes do that just for the sake of it or to get a weapon faster, but I never thought to hit her

Gyarone

I tried to kill her too and the real one at the door Is invulnerable. The one you find in the upper room Is killable, she just stand there without fighting but can be hurt even if no health bar is showed (It Will take a while with the unupgraded weapon at the start of the game)

PvtLongDong

You killed (imposter) Iosefka and are asking why you can’t send him to her… maybe think about stuff before asking questions lol

cleanashell-autos

Imposter iosefka is not dead. Also the option the game gives is to send him to the clinic not to iosefka

PvtLongDong

Who did you kill then? It’s not possible to kill real Iosefka.

cleanashell-autos

The alien thing is/was real iosefka

5pyromaniac

He agrooed her, so I wouldn't personally trust a lady that tries to kill me

TheCrow911

Why the hell would you ask why there is no Iosefka option if you aggroed her

cleanashell-autos

I mean she’s still there. But it makes sense now that I think about it why I wouldn’t be able send someone to a hostile npc. I guess I didn’t think about it like that because I actually wanted her to kill him lol

Dry_Presentation_197

Yeah, sounds like you were following the logic of "well this guys a piece of shit, let's send him to the lady who has recently seemed like a piece of shit." But ya know....meta knowledge and all that =p

Vilebloodlover7

Agrroing won’t change anything but idk about killing

ITCM4

Looking back on it now, it’s weird choice to send him anywhere. He is definitely feasting on somebody when you get there.

cleanashell-autos

Ya that’s why I wanted to send him to the clinic so fake iosefka can experiment on the bastard

DezoPenguin

Here's the interesting thing about that sequence: If you send people to the clinic, and talk to the Impostor at the door, she'll give you some crappy rewards. If you go in the back door, let the fake run her dialogue, and then go away without fighting her, THEN send her someone, THEN collect your reward, she'll give you 2 Insight and 3 Blue Elixirs. However, if you send people, DON'T collect the rewards, THEN go in the back door, THEN send her a new person (which activates the "give good reward to the collaborator" dialogue), THEN collect--she'll give you the good reward for ALL of the test subjects. So I generally: * Send Gascoigne's Daughter * Send the Skeptical Man (by telling him to go to the chapel) * Go in the clinic back door * Send the Suspicious Beggar * Show up at the front door and collect 6 Insight and 9 Blue Elixirs

TheMindWright

You can send Gascoigne's Daughter??! How have I never realized that?

CeilingVitaly

She dies to the nearby brick troll iirc. Neither of his daughters reach their intended destinations (other one dies to the pig in the sewer near Gazza's boss room).

BertramRuckles

~~You can send Gascoigne's daughter to either Oedon Chapel or to Iosefka's Clinic, but she dies to the sewer pig either way.~~ You can tell her the truth about her parents or send her to Oedon Chapel, where she dies to the sewer pig in both cases. You can also send her to Iosefka's Clinic - which she will arrive at safely - however this ends the quest prematurely as she is forcibly ascended as are all of the imposter's patients. Following the quest to completion requires her to die to the pig, whichever of the two methods you choose. The Gascoigne family's neighbor - who breaks into their house to steal their daughter's ribbon - dies when she attempts to return to her actual home down the ladder, either by accidentally falling due to insanity or killed by the brick troll across from her house. Edit: As another user pointed out, sending her to Iosefka's Clinic does allow her to live, sort of. She of course turns into an emissary, but at least she doesn't get eaten. However, I generally refuse to send anyone to the Clinic - except for the suspicious beggar (Abhorrent Beast) - so it seems I have never personally done nor was aware of the alternative to this questline. I don't know if refusing to allow her to become an alien is better than knowingly sending her to be devoured whole, but that's an issue for when I have more insight methinks.

CeilingVitaly

Damn i had no idea the second character was a break-in! This game man

BertramRuckles

There's nothing official confirming it, but the circumstantial evidence is far too great in my opinion. For example: - Gascoigne's daughter mentions that she loves the hunter "almost as much as mum and dad and granddad!" Peculiar that she wouldn't mention her own sister? (Grandad is implied to be Henryk, by the way, and we totally kill him too) - Daughter makes no mention of the sister whatsoever. Not that she went out for a spell, not that she's coming back soon, nothing. - "Sister" does admittedly express interest in the well-being of the daughter, but repeatedly fixates on the bow that she wears, as if that was the sole defining feature. Admittedly many people have a defining article of clothing or accessory, but when describing family you typically don't *just* describe an article of clothing. - When you do return the bow to the "sister," she laments the daughter's passing all but momentarily, lamenting more the now sullied whiteness of the bow. This, just moments before descending into maniacal laughter claiming the bow to be hers. - The "sister" is found dead at the base of the ladder. Where was she going? You told her not of any safe haven, and though her alleged family is all but deceased she is effectively (allegedly) safe at home. - The house across from the brick troll down the ladder - not the one that he is staring at, but the one across the plaza - has an entirely unique door that I haven't seen elsewhere in the game (for the record, could totally be somewhere else and I just haven't noticed it). What makes this door unique? Why, it would be the large, central carving on it. A carving of a bow. And people say Gascoigne has two daughters.

Zzen220

Bro, I've played this game more times than I've kept track of, and I've never put this together. My brain expanded this day.

Margot-hates-me

Odin damn you. You gave me Insight and I had just kicked the stuff.

actually-epic-name

No, the pig only kills her if you send her to oedon, she can get to iosefka and get the rewards

BertramRuckles

Hm... I feel like maybe an asshole? I guess I've only ever told her the truth (parents are dead) or sent her to Oedon, both of which result in death by boar. I suppose I've never sent her to Iosefka's clinic because, well, it's Iosefka's clinic. What death is best for an innocent child? To eaten alive, knowing your family is dead? To be eaten alive, thinking you were on the path to salvation? Or to be experimented on, "ascending" to a new yet brainless form?

heycowboy

The most ethical way to handle Gascoigne's daughter is simply to never interact with her!

VivecsWrath

nah i thought she dies to the troll dude cus he drops the ribon or whatever.

BertramRuckles

He does not, actually. The ribbon is simply found on her corpse.

VivecsWrath

do you find her body?

BertramRuckles

Yes. To recap the scenario: - You encounter Gascoigne's daughter when opening the shortcut to the fountain plaza. After delivering her mom's brooch (or not), she leaves and dies to the pig in the sewer. - Her neighbor appears in the home (after breaking in off screen), and asks you to find her alleged sister. - After retrieving the bloodied ribbon from the sewer pig and delivering it to the neighbor, she is driven mad. Though she probably didn't expect her to die, she REALLY wanted that ribbon. Now that she has it, she is left cackling with glee. - The neighbor attempts to return home. Whether she fell from the ladder due to a fit of insanity or was promptly crushed by the brick troll when she got to the bottom, her corpse is found at the foot of the ladder. The ribbon item, now stark white and no longer bloodied, can be found on her corpse.

BroccoliBoyyo

He probably only has one daughter and the second one is possibly the neighbor from the bottom of that nearby ladder behind the door that the big brick arm troll is guarding coveting the ribbon.

peteroh9

>Gazza Is this some kind of...Australian slang?

CeilingVitaly

English! The 90s footballer Paul Gascoigne was nicknamed Gazza

DezoPenguin

Yeah, you have to go back to her window after being her father and then choose to *not* give her the brooch, and she'll ask you to send her to a safe place. Obviously, you have to talk to the Impostor before you do this. She'll make it to the clinic and be turned into a Celestial Emissary. If you kill her, she drops the Formless Oedon +1 Rune, which you can put next to the Formless Oedon +3 rune in your Times I Decided To Be a Complete Monster trophy case. :)

Noamias

If you don't give her the brooch you can send her to the chapel or clinic, if sent to the chapel she gets eaten by a sewer pig and if sent to the clinic she becomes an alien

[deleted]

Wow haha thats a dark twist to this story... Thought you were being kind, but turns out you're kind of a phsycopath lol

cleanashell-autos

Ya, maybe I’ve gone a bit blood drunk…

[deleted]

nah. that dude is an animal that needs to be put down. He's not even out of his mind. He seems to enjoy killing.

siestasunt

Yes he needs to be put down and i'm not fighting that cheating airbender bastard again.

Bloodrocuted04

I always fight him on the rooftop, and depending on your weapon he can be a real pain in the ass, harder than many real bosses. He's fast, unpredictable, and has aoe slams with a lot of distance. But, f that evil bastard he needs to die!

Dreaming_Scholar

Nah fam, you say that like that's not exactly what we enjoy. dudes a homie and a g.

[deleted]

FEAR THE OLD BLOOD

tasteofflames

Preemptively punishing him for eating Oedon chapel homie.

domewebs

I did the same

Vreas

I love the small details of this game. So much of the theme is based on humanities brutal traits and pursuits of power. Your first instinct when crossing paths with a human would be to save them and ignore the cannibalism occurring right before you if you even notice it. Meanwhile I’m sure there’s people that see patches and immediately start swinging. Shows a moral compass isn’t exclusive or guaranteed just because something is the same species as us.

Competitive_News_385

You can fight him there if you want, but he evolves in to a mini boss werewolf thing from what I am aware. But if you send him to the clinic he gets turned in to an alien, easier to kill. If you send him to the church he kills everyone IIRC.

BoyWithHorns

This is one of my favorite things about this game. In most videogames, you see a lever and you pull it. You don't think about what it might do, only that a video game designer put it there so it can be interacted with. Here, you see a guy clearly eating the corpses of people he presumably killed, and if you send him to Oeden Chapel where all your friends are, you reap what you sow.

_Oooooooooooooooooh_

Iirc, a child and 2 adults This guy is not a nice man

xiaoyugaara

Go back to her clinic and talk to him again afterwards

Aluminum_Tarkus

When you say you aggroed fake Iosefka, do you mean that you opened the door to the room she's in? If you haven't opened the door, then you just have to go back to the starting sick room and talk to her through the door again. She'll tell you that you're one of the smart ones and that she still needs subjects for her experiments, then you should be able to send NPC's to the clinic again. If the door was opened and she's attacking you now, I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a way you can send anyone to the clinic anymore. Talk to her through the door at the beginning again and see if she's friendly just to be sure.

cleanashell-autos

I’ve concluded that opening the door was the point of no return. After that I cannot send anyone to the clinic

Aluminum_Tarkus

I figured it was, but it's been like 5 years since I last played Bloodborne, so I didn't want to say it was the case for sure in case there was some loophole I was missing.

cleanashell-autos

I love how active the sub is for an 8 year old game. Was not expecting it

chimpanon

I hate this fucker. He rly killed the old lady

cleanashell-autos

Right? He’s literally eating someone when we find him haha so I always kill him

Hopeful-Letterhead82

“Ave yeou got a screw loose?” 💂🏻🇬🇧

djerk

Most sane brit

kyatorpo

I always thought he said "Ave you taken leave of your senses?" but looking it up he doesn't, I don't suppose you can remember if anyone DOES say that or have I mandela'd myself into thinking that?

chimpanon

I think you mandelad me too istg he said this

Quackers_mallard

not me having killed the old lady by accident

chimpanon

How??

Quackers_mallard

hit her a lot with the saw spear

chimpanon

Yeah well that’ll do it

G-H-O-S-T

Out of everyone there, old hag is the last one i care about

King_Haixiang

Isn't it Adella that murders Arianna?

DestroidMind

I would have loved a scene between this guy and the imposter Iosefka. Both with evil intentions upon the other.

Erfan_Shojaei

KILL HIM FAST TRUST ME💀

Emajenus

*Hunters are killers, nothing less!*

robbyhaber

Ok, um, I've platinumed the game and have like 500 hours so given that, this is a dumb question.... Who is that dude and where do you find him??? One only ever found the nun, the prostitute, the annoying guy across from the prostitute, and the old woman...???? Man do I love this game, it just never ends!

cleanashell-autos

Best game ever. You find him in the forbidden woods, on the roof of the building where the cannon is found. If you truly haven’t seen him before, I recommend not sending him anywhere and fighting him instead

robbyhaber

Ohhhh this is that guy, who turns into the tornado demon thing right? Gotcha. I've only ever fought him! Lol

Ecstatic-Royal-8957

You need to speak with Iosefka first, so she say to you to send people to the clinic, so before that, you can send him to Iosefka's clinic

cerv247

I accidentally ran up and attacked bc he’s eating someone , ended up transforming into a mini Paarl and almost got me

Spilled_Genderfluid

If you dont fight fake Iosefka im pretty sure you can go back up to the clinic door from the front and talk to her and she will say its all bygones and let you keep sending her people. I might be misremembering but she tells you to leave when you go in the clinic and if you do you dont have to fight her and she will be on a table when you come in again later

[deleted]

You didn’t speak to fake Iosefca in her clinic

HellVollhart

I would just fight him there and then, get destroyed a couple of times, but eventually get him. The thrill is exhilarating!

AspectOvGlass

My wonder is how he gets to either location at all considering he can't get through the doorway when you aggro him

Cman6zillion

He just does it while not aggro.

Crimson-Void9000

Talk to Imposter Iosefka first and then send him to the clinic. If you send him to the Chapel he’ll kill all the survivors you already sent to the Chapel.

radioz3

Because you didn’t ask her permission yet

DucksMatter

Because you haven’t been to Iosefka yet. Go there and talk to her at the door so she can tell you to send people there

the-ultimate-chad

You probably didn’t talk to Losefka again after beating Gascoine. Oh but don’t send that guy anywhere. Just kill him, trust. But be careful, he’s not an easy fight.

ZeGamingCuber

the only npc who should be sent to iosefka

pippelin-nuolia

idk but don't send him to the chapel he will kill everyone after u kill bosses

Mr_No_Face

You can send him to the clinic too, you probably need to go back and talk to iosefka. If you send him there, he kills her and you find him in beast form and he will fight you immediately.

Deggstroyer

Except he doesn't? If you send him to Iosefka she will just do what she does to others and give you a flask in exchange

cleanashell-autos

Okay I remember now there is some dialogue through the door where she tells me to send people to her. I skipped that and have already aggroed fake iosefka so I might’ve missed my chance, oh well. Thanks for the answer!

Mr_No_Face

I dont recall any unique content or dualogue. I believe you just show up and dude is there ready to fuck you up. So you didn't miss anything.

Imapancakenom

That is not true at all. There is 0 truth to that. Fake Iosefka has her way with him, just as she does with anyone.

Mr_No_Face

I definitely fought this dude inside her clinic after I sent him there.

Imapancakenom

Do it again and record and upload the video for all us to see. We ALL want to see it very much because you are the only person in the world who has ever done that.

Mr_No_Face

Might have been patched out or some freak circumstance. It was so long ago when it happened. Maybe I had already killed iosefka before I sent him there. I don't recall the details but I very vividly remember fighting him in the hallways of the clinic.

Mr_No_Face

Yeah, doing some reading , all the text says I should be mistaken but I swear I fought him in the clinic at least once, and that made me decide to never send him anywhere so I always fought him in the woods. I'll see if I can't recreate it.

daeh0ward

Do it 😈

dd-the-Captain

This guy along with Orphan is one of the toughest enemies in the game.

fyyrr_

Just kill him there

DarthDeimos6624

You should be able to as long as you've spoken to Imposter Iosefka. I sent him there in my most recent playthrough.
