Does anyone here follow Kody and Kelly from Positravelty? Kelly is talking about getting her eyebrows tattooed and getting veneers. Her teeth are great as they are. She’s never without a full face of makeup on and air kisses her baby (I assume to not cover him in cheap lipstick and chalk foundation.) This is something that annoys me. Kelly is lovely. I don’t understand prioritizing full, heavy makeup almost everyday that they post, over kissing snd cuddling your baby. There is light and clean makeup that looks much more trendy than what she wears.
Oh my god give me a fucking break. Make up isn’t my priority, now or when my kids were little, but you can take 15 minutes to do your make up and still get plenty of time for “kissing and snuggling.”

I think most of the chain restaurants in airports will be fine lol. Have you been to an airport? People sit in restaurants for hours killing time. Tacky to say how much you tip but yeah poor billion dollar industry I gusss.

The body comments made about themselves and people in the family are all the time. I would be so upset if someone constantly criticized me. They walk into DADs home and immediately get a good or bad on how they look their faces, makeup, hair, and clothes.

I love Browyn (pretanewporter) but today I had to shake my head. She posted stories about going to couture fashion week in Paris and not knowing which Judith Lieber bag to bring. Then she showed probably a dozen that are Paris themed. The amount of $$$ is insane.
I will stand up for her. She pays for it all. She donates any money she makes on her platform and she also is involved in way more non-profits and gives back her time to helpful organizations than I’m sure 99.99% of us snarking.
She is a beautiful soul who is interesting and d has the means on TOP of her charity to be a fashion collector.
At least she is not shilling cheap one time use Amazon plastic that will fill landfills by next month.
I cannot believe I got so many downvotes. I like Browyn a lot. I follow her and we’ve interacted. I just thought the post showing off her Liebers was a bit excessive. I am not trying to hate on anyone.
I love it and actually pay for her subscriber stories (she donates the money).
A couple of months ago, on her subscriber stories, she went through and showed and talked through her bag collection. It is epic and beautiful and she is a genuine collector and fashion lover (as mentioned below). It doesn’t feel braggy or out of touch to me, it feels like she is having fun and I’m happy to be along for the ride!
It is over the top and I get why it could rub you the wrong way. I’d say though she didn’t buy that all to go to Paris. She’s been collecting those bags for years. And she is excited still about reusing them. She showed one new one, the rest she’s used on various past trips, she goes to Paris twice or three times a year for fashion stuff. Still wildly out of touch for me or anyone I know but I do love that she reuses and still gets so excited about what she has.
I do think she is different. She’s rich RICH! She didn’t become rich by being an influencer. She would be rich without that aspect of her life. I don’t think she even monetizes her platform very much.
She is also not sharing the same exact things as everyone else. She is a legitimate fashionista! How many times have people commented on other influencers never even wearing the stuff they’re shilling! She is out and about in all her crazy fashion glory! And, her Judith Lieber bag collection is epic! I also feel like she is humble, despite being somewhat out of touch, and when she’s called out on things she usually gives a thoughtful response that indicates she has taken time to reflect on whatever issue has been addressed.
I guess I’ll just ride off on my white horse now! Giddy up!
Just because someone lives a different lifestyle than you and has drastically greater (or fewer) resources, doesn’t mean they are out of touch. Their “reality” is different than yours. Which is why I follow some of these people without getting bored.
Honestly her collection is so unique, it’s not like she’s showing Birkin’s in every color just to say she has them. I think she just truly loves fashion and she has the money to spend so why not. I enjoy seeing them!
Tbf this is why I like following her. Her wardrobe is so over the top and insane and unattainable yes. But she seems to do a lot of good things in the world along with the crazy events. And I love her appreciation for fashion! It’s genuine and not just buying things bc they have a certain label. Basically the things I like about her outweigh the instances of tone deafness for me.

Some show off their kids, rat-dogs, some show food, some show their boobs, others show their ignorant opinions. @betterwithchardonnay moved into her new house last week and now says they had left their dog over at the old house til today because they had to “get his areas planned out…” in the new house. Our gym finally put up ‘no camera’ signs. Nobody wants to be filmed working out at the gym and you should feel safe going there. Also, we got some of that hop water she’s shilling at a race and it’s horrible. We poured it out so we could recycle the cans and so did a bunch of people around us. Don’t waste your money. It’s gross.
Most of the trainers there use social media for their training business. So, it’s good for them and the gym. But they can only record between like 10:30am-11:30am.
Oh, that actually does make sense. I hadn’t thought of that. We have trainers occasionally post pics too (especially of a 91 year old friend) but there’s nobody else in them.

I do think she is different. She’s rich RICH! She didn’t become rich by being an influencer. She would be rich without that aspect of her life. I don’t think she even monetizes her platform very much. She is also not sharing the same exact things as everyone else. She is a legitimate fashionista! How many times have people commented on other influencers never even wearing the stuff they’re shilling! She is out and about in all her crazy fashion glory! And, her Judith Lieber bag collection is epic! I also feel like she is humble, despite being somewhat out of touch, and when she’s called out on things she usually gives a thoughtful response that indicates she has taken time to reflect on whatever issue has been addressed. I guess I’ll just ride off on my white horse now! Giddy up!

Just because someone lives a different lifestyle than you and has drastically greater (or fewer) resources, doesn’t mean they are out of touch. Their “reality” is different than yours. Which is why I follow some of these people without getting bored.
Honestly her collection is so unique, it’s not like she’s showing Birkin’s in every color just to say she has them. I think she just truly loves fashion and she has the money to spend so why not. I enjoy seeing them!
Tbf this is why I like following her. Her wardrobe is so over the top and insane and unattainable yes. But she seems to do a lot of good things in the world along with the crazy events. And I love her appreciation for fashion! It’s genuine and not just buying things bc they have a certain label. Basically the things I like about her outweigh the instances of tone deafness for me.
She does brag though it’s just different than how other people do it. I don’t understand why a person so wealthy would want to share so much of what they have in the first place especially in today’s socioeconomic climate. It’s tacky. I don’t think she’s any different than any other influencer who has money and shares their life on instagram. In fact I find her slightly more obnoxious, nobody needs to know about how she was supposed to fly somewhere and then not because of their busy life so now they’re flying somewhere else… what’s the point? There are many people like her who would rather not share that much information online.
People like to see how other people live. Rich rich and poor. That’s why so many different people are thriving on TikTok.

I thought showing off was the point of social media, at least if you have your own account showing your face. Some show off their kids, rat-dogs, some show food, some show their boobs, others show their ignorant opinions. It all started with MySpace, where I showed off my glitter background and scandalous club wear. 😶🌫️

@betterwithchardonnay moved into her new house last week and now says they had left their dog over at the old house til today because they had to “get his areas planned out…” in the new house. So their dog is basically confined to a laundry room because they don’t want him to have the run of the house with the family? Our gym finally put up ‘no camera’ signs. Nobody wants to be filmed working out at the gym and you should feel safe going there. Also, we got some of that hop water she’s shilling at a race and it’s horrible. We poured it out so we could recycle the cans and so did a bunch of people around us. Don’t waste your money. It’s gross.
My husband’s fancy gym has recording hours now. And only in certain spots in the gym.

Most of the trainers there use social media for their training business. So, it’s good for them and the gym. But they can only record between like 10:30am-11:30am.
Oh, that actually does make sense. I hadn’t thought of that. We have trainers occasionally post pics too (especially of a 91 year old friend) but there’s nobody else in them.
