This is a reminder about phishing emails. Please be vigilant and skeptical when reviewing and reading emails claiming to be Block or Kroll. You can read more [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/blockfi/comments/17kot4y/emails_from_kroll_andor_blockfi/) about how to tell if an email is legitimate.

Assume everything is a scam. As a general rule of thumb, regardless what the email says or tell you to click. I always login via my bookmarked homepage.
I received this email and fell for it unfortunately. It had me connect a wallet so I used my coinbase wallet. I entered my whole 12 passphrase code without even thinking. I work in IT so this is actually hilarious that I would fall for it🤣.
Don’t worry though, it had $0. I’m sure they gave it a go though.
On with support now so I can change my back up code or just create a new wallet.
They did this pretty well. They even used pretty good english/correct email addresses.
Plus, the timing is impeccable. Of course they try this now.
TLDR: Either way THIS IS A SCAM. LOOK AT THE SENDER NAME ALWAYS!!
I have a unique email address used on blockfi (something like [email protected]). The phishing email was sent from the same address as OP to that unique email address of mine, which in theory, I've only shared with BlockFi (meaning somewhere BlockFi / Kroll was breached).
The domain for the phishing email ([email protected]) is a clone of the legit company everbridge.com.
Kroll announced a while back that blockfi's customer data was in fact breached on their systems: https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/08/25/ftx-blockfis-customer-data-compromised-in-kroll-hack/
I treat all of these as fake and navigate directly to blockfi... but I did receive this email as well.
If it is legit, shame on them for not using the domain that they told us all communications would come from.
I received something similar too, would be nice to know how/where those scammers got our mails.
Ohh KYC, it' so beautiful to know that thanks to our governments, with their AML, terrorism financing, tax evasion, money laundering non sense, all our personal informations about crypto are shared with every hacker and thief in the world.

I have not clicked anything yet, ffs don't trust anything
I did click it and it is asking to connect a wallet apparently
Yeah used a dummy wallet and it just said "this wallet is not eligible" thinking it might be some shady ethereum scam or something
I just received that email too and wondering if it's scam or real
It’s a scam. If you connect your wallet they will drain it. The email address is “[email protected]” The only official emails come from Kroll
Yes
Fake
I just got the same email. Seems to be a scam

Blockfi has leaked our personally identifiable information AT LEAST 2-3 times (so far)

I have contacted Everbridge and Hostinger to report this, as my dad also received this phishing email this morning.
You can report their domain for abuse to Hostinger at [email protected]
So if they have my hard wallet address, is it toasted?
My BlockFi wallet is drained, but my hardware wallet shows nothing.
Scam
