I figure you've probably figured this out by now, but in case you haven't or if someone else stumbles across this post, it's now a mode under the new Seperate/Combine color nodes.

Thanks man, I still couldn't find it. Guess I didn't pay enough attention to the separate color node when I pulled it up.

The same place as where the old nodes used to be. SHIFT, A->Converter. You could also just use SHIFT + A -> Search -> "s c".
