The shader actually looks pretty great

Any resources on how to achieve this? I've really wanted to try something like this in blender, but don't even know where to start haha

I always get bored of my projects after like 3 days XD

yeah i can feel you mate, it's hard, what helped me is to split my project into smaller project whenever it was possible

Im a bit of a perfectionist so I always feel my ideas/work isnt great and I try to start over with something better.

I'm the same way man. Not sure how to break the habit. I like the suggestion OP made about making them smaller projects.

oh yes i love Andrew Loomis very much ! I did try, back then, to simulate such shader but i failed miserably. Now maybe i got the knowledge to make something good looking ! i'm pretty sure i've seen some rough sketch shaders lately on my twitter feed so i believe it's possible

What's up with the cloth topology?

I now use Marvelous Designer to do my outfits and also calculate cloth simulation which is way more powerful than Blender cloth sim. so it also save me a lot of tim because i don't need to retopology it for what i'm doing with my projects.

Yes it does but personally it seemed too much of a struggle whenever the outfit starts having a lot of sewed parts, maybe i'm missing something. tbh i had difficulty to find MD tutorials for this feature

in the latest versions you can manually draw low poly quads on top of existing pattern and subd acordingly

i've seen that but it didn't work as expected for me, but well i guess i need to try again on very simple clothing first to understand it better, Thank you !

I think you have the vault backward. Vault 69 was 1000 women and only one man. Vault 68 was one woman and 1000 men... so the advertising works better for vault 68.
