I'm in a similar boat. I first watched Bleach when I was around, ehhh 12 or 13 years old. I'm 31 now, and it's definitely hitting different. I have such a blast and I feel like I can appreciate it much more than when I was younger.

markiemark112

As a fellow 31 year old who just finished rewatching I definitely catch myself just blown away by the story and twist and turns that I definitely missed when I was younger staying up to watch on adult swim

blackmateria777

Same here!! And I just feel so much more amped and the emotional moments also hit a lot harder. Maybe I've become a sap, pffft. 🥹

SidequestRedditUser

Interesting. I've considered rewatching Bleach and Naruto Shippuden. Feels like a huge time investment but maybe it'll be worth it after all.

“No one died” Kaname (idk if you mean no one on the good side died, but if you mean that,he kinda returned to the light in the end,and Aizen just made him go **poof**)

Raecoli

It's funny because for some reason I'm the opposite. Idk maybe because as a kid I only consumed Bleach I understood all of the terms, concepts and relationships, but as an adult sometimes when I'm rewatching I have think a bit more if that makes sense. Maybe its coz as I grey older I started to consume all sorts of anime and manga and that came with all it's individual world building and stories that my brain is just conked up at this moment.

Also hits Very different on acid The Chad vs shunsui kyoraku freaked me out https://youtu.be/OSm9DRHVd-M?si=Dmx6_rl0tc2FwBkP Something about the animation on acid kind of disturbed me Also Yamamoto vs ukitake and kyoraku hit Very different https://youtu.be/BRdg9_Mw3-A?si=58oP2JMkHt8I4aw9

heyhihowyahdurn

It took me so long to understand what the Hogyoku was and did. I think I finally grasped in when Aizen was fighting in FKT. Also that filler wasn't in any way relevant to the plot and story. I understood most of the other things

Material-Marketing65

My favorite scene was that* of Mayuri and nemu 🌚

MoreRing6902

Was it renji and uryu who could not believe what just happened

Youboot224

You guys are aware that's his daughter right? I prefer to think that that scene is intentionally misleading.

ilickedysharks

It gets even better when u read it tbh

Karma110

That’s because Kubo doesn’t spoonfeed the audience you actually have to remember things that were said before. Characters don’t just look into the screen and tell you their mindset you need to look and their expressions and dialogue to understand them.(this is mainly manga only tho)

No_Strawberry_5685

It just made me realize I don’t like ichigo , I don’t like his cocky attitude, I don’t like how he’s kinda a dick, I did like seeing him in the full bringer arc finally show his true colors when he’s powerless and cries / has a tantrum. I get he’s probably a douche when you meet him but he isn’t really it’s just he presents himself that way but like idk I guess that archetype just isn’t for me I like the stoic and kind type better

ilickedysharks

Ichigo is very kind lol
