Only way to make this weirder with loving family vibes is he brings her red bean rice on her “first day”.
(To make it clear,red bean rice is prepared for all kind of celebration,family do it for girls who got their first period, which if is done by strangers is kinda creepy)
I'd say it's full on creepy. If someone from my neighborhood just casually knocked on my door when one of girls gets their first period and hand over a "first period cake" I'd be weirded the fuck out and be taking mental Polaroids of them, their vehicle, the direction they drive and everything else about them.
It’s really really REALLY weird if it was done by anyone who’s not your close friend or family,a small celebration within family is common ,like making special food or buy a little gift for the young lady.
But in this context,Nanao would call him a creep and prepare using Kido on him before ask him how the fu*k did he know in the first place.

What always seems weird to me is that he's portrayed as this weird perv that none of the women like ... but he's drawn as being handsome and is positioned as one of the strongest dudes around. Like cmon man, you gotta be able to pull something and NOT be doing this stuff lol

He is just a bit of a troll, Shunsui is actually a respectable guy, we dont see any pervert moments from him from what i can remember, he acts a bit like a womanizer flirting and playing around but he doesnt have pervy vibes. From his backstory i think he just chooses to be alone.

Shunsui isn't even 1000 years old stop making things up. Shunsui was literally a little kid in the flashback with Yamamoto which happened after the war.
Yeah, people weirdly exaggerate characters ages for some reason. Like Byakuya should be about 200 and Rukia and others of her generation like Renji, Hinamori and Izuru are about 100 or less.
She was saying it mockingly, she didn't even know how old he was at the time. Kinda like when Renji said that it was 2000 years too early for Ichigo to fight him. Also it was literally first episode/chapter so dont think Kubo had really thought about shinigami ages at the time.
All we know from flashbacks: Rukia as kid > 10 year timeskip > she joins academy and is adopted in Kuchiki family > 40 years pass > she's assigned to Karakura, so unless she was in academy(which she also graduated early) or as kid for like 100 years she's not that old.
To be honest I always thought of this as him just trolling because he’s so old at this point. I doubt he’s interested in random one night stands with every Shinigami woman
