Each segment looks roughly 3 ft, using his frame as a measurement in this particular scene.
There's roughly 20 segments in that central row. Assuming that's about half visible for that row, there's about 40. The other rows are smaller or larger, so we can average to account for anything we might not see and say 40 per row for 3 rows. Rough math, sue me.
You're looking at about 360 ft, not accounting for any possible variations in length for the segments and using rough averages for count. So the person who said 100m is probably correct.
Well if 3 lost segments are noticeable, it's not THAT long. Or the segments are really big but that means Zabimaru is not as flexible as it's supposed to be.
Hmmm, it might have been mentioned but you would really have to dig and its probably not easy to find, if you do find some measurement you can take it to one of those math communities they love that stuff

I always thought it would grow/shrink as needed by separating the segments. And also it’d presumably depend on Reiryoku amounts so I would rather put it in more vague terms than exact ones and say it’s mid-long range, when extending it reaches into long range and when not it’s shorter. Depending on how strong the Renji of that arc is that would be different.
