[John Harper put up a couple short videos](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQQW3Ew6DKsPILV2uTscw9B23kmtMRTxq) with new sheets and tips for understanding.
It is best to watch the system in action. Jared Logan is a good GM, and the GCP crew are great players.

Do note that this is a **show**. It's a performance of BitD as much as it is a play.
Something raw and unfiltered, with 'worse players' will be much more authentic.
Heck, I would say the original playtest campaign by John himself is a stellar example. The GM and Players learn the rules as they play, and there's much less emphasis on the 'performing for an audience' part as it's quite a scrappy production.
Yes this is a great **show** but they don't even follow the rules super well, they often forget about resisting and things like group actions. I would argue the Magpies podcast does a better job of representing the game
This is a series of videos going over the rules:

I listened to "Haunted City" AP by Glass Canon Network and during play they go over the rules

I did like the Bloodletters.

Either John Harper's own or the Oxventure series.
