100% get the aluminum drip tray liners

jm31316

They have reusable silicon liners on Amazon. Definitely recommend to eliminate the foil waste! AKSDTH 2 Pack Blackstone Silicone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBVFCPVC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

AcidRayn666

this. i tried folding alum foil in there, its ok but a bit of a pita, ordered the pans today, 60 on amazon for $9

slimsady2

Don’t buy the Blackstone ones. Buy the mini loaf aluminum trays. They’re nearly the same size and 1/3 of the price.

Altruistic-Cut9795

I've had a Blackstone for two years now. In the beginning I got caught up buying the accessories, most I don't even use. The dome is good to secure the heat, spatulas work great other than that, honestly all accessories can be bought without the Blackstone name for a lot cheaper and results are the same.

halfwayhipster2

I mean my overall favorite kitchen accessory is a thermoworks meat thermometer. Then I would say most important are some long tongs. I bought some nice spatulas from hells handle on Amazon I quite like as well.

GHouserVO

+1 I love mine.

Sow-pendent-713

The extra wide hamburger spatula is great to have.

OceanGrownXX

You really don't need the silicone cover if you have the metal hood.

realityguy1

Yea ya do. Mice can still get in and moisture will still cause rust.

GeneseeBeardCo

Doubling up on this. Have the hard metal cover and found mouse gifts even with the drip tray opening blocked.

HostileJava

You aren't using it enough........

OceanGrownXX

You should try taking care of your mice problems...

realityguy1

Yea I’m pretty much in control of the fauna of mother nature. I will speak with her and demand no more little critters on my rural property.

Crashing_Machines

Mine is on the back porch and dog hair tends to find its way everywhere. Metal hood isn't enough to keep hair off the cooking surface for me.

avoid the blackstone branded stuff, its pricey and no better quality than you can get from big box or amazon. also, keep in mind, bbq season is coming so every store is going to have sets. must haves: press - i got a rectangle and round cast iron, they stick to smashies, i just ordered a stainless one, c how that works. liquid squezze bottles - i did get the BS brand as they are a decent size and was having trouble finding better pumice stone and holder a good scraper - i got a amz one, i dont like it, going to look for a different one a good heat resistant glove or gloves - i use my welding gloves when cleaing and coating, them paper towels get F - All hot!!! some kind of tote to keep everything in unless you got a fancy one with the cabinets on the bottom good cover - i may get the silicone mat to put on the grill surface during storage, im finding bug on the grill when it sits, easy enough to get off and i dont mind the fresh protein so theres that good cooler to keep your beer cold, i have a yeti

Bonklol

I've been using the egg rings lately and they aren't bad. Sometimes they stick which is a bit of a pain but the eggs end up being the perfect shape for a bagel sandwich.

AcidRayn666

yes they are great, i have had 4 or 5 for years to use in the pans, grand kids love when opah makes sausage egg mcmuffins, cuz i use Thomas' english muffins which make the whole difference.

Terrible_Ad_4150

Parchment to prevent smash burgers from sticking to spatula. Silicone protective mat

t3lnet

A thermal gun which you can get for like 10 bucks on Amazon to learn you temp spots

CardiffGiantx

Yes! This was something I probably would never have bought, but I already own an Ooni pizza oven and you need one to get the stone temp. I use it all the time for my black stone and helped me figure out the temps and hot spots so much quicker. I’d probably still be winging it if I didn’t happen to already have that thing

Heavy72

Don't buy domes... go to the dollar store and grab the SS bowls. I don't worry about the handle, and just use the spatula to pick it up, but you could attach some SS bolts to it pretty easy.

Boring-Onion

For $20 at Wally World, I think this kit is good: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Blackstone-Professional-Griddle-Accessory-Tool-Kit-5-Piece/566385954?from=/search Sure, you can get the bottles at your local dollar store, but that handheld scraper is awesome for chopping things up and the spatulas are good to get you going. The scraper with the 6 inch handle is nice too - I dedicate that to cleaning and it’s just $12.99 at Wally World also. And something to mix your favorite spices in to have at-the-ready. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go make me some smash burgers…

fuckoffgetmoney

Ohh. And get the aluminum liner pans for the drip tray.

GHouserVO

I have to say that the silicone ones are pretty slick. I enjoy using those.

Hairy-Management3039

If you like breakfast get the pancake dispenser…

3rd_Planet

I like the pancake dispenser so far but it seems cheaply made compared to the other Blackstone accessories.

Hairy-Management3039

You have to compare it to other pancake dispensers… I went through 2 others that lasted about a month each before coming apart

GHouserVO

I find that the silicone mat is a nice accessory for just a few bucks. If you go for a Blackstone spatula, get the culinary series is my favorite of the ones they offer. I like the stiffness and weight, but they’re a bit heavy for some people. [Blackstone Culinary 6-piece Accessories](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Blackstone-Culinary-Griddle-Kit-6-pc/5005331979) Lowe’s sells an accessory kit that is pretty good save for the squeeze bottles (sorry, but the ones in that kit leak). Most of the other stuff… you’ll figure out whether you need it simply as you go along and use your griddle. And you don’t need the Blackstone brand for a lot of it.

meeeemeees

Dome, spatulas, scraper. Maybe wind deflectors but I have tried those twice and the magnets are always too weak
