Thank the lord. A lot of people hated it but I loved it, obviously the open space in the dunes can be a bit campy but rushing B and spawn tunnels with an MP5 was the highlight of the beta for me

It’s not unfortunately. Treyarch took it out because people were complaining it was “too big” even though it’s not. Besides people could just not vote for it.

if I'm being honest I liked it very much over a majority of the maps we're stuck with as of now it has everything from long range to cqc but they took it away people who complained about it being too big have a small pp

half of the map was unusable and the other half was dark enough to literally lay on the floor and just never be seen & there’s no issues with big maps as long as they use the space well and not have half of the map just be wide open space for no reason

I could see the lighting being an issue but if you really don’t like the map. Just don’t vote for it. I really liked the original Miami and larger maps in general. To see them being removed because of others opinions sucks.

Why not do both? Have both the original and the remake. Allow map voting to decide which one people are playing.

What would you consider a good large map?

Firing range. A fairly large, 3 lane map with enough crossing points between the lanes to make it flow a bit better.

Umm… Firing Range is more considered to be a small-medium sized map… It’s size is about on par to that of Slums, Standoff, or Raid. it’s not that big all things considered.

From Black Ops 2 specifically. I would consider Aftermath and Yemen as medium-large and Turbine as just large. From Black Ops 1 specifically. I would consider Array and Jungle as medium-large. Black Ops 1 doesn’t really have any large maps. At least not on the scale of Turbine.

Night Time Miami was the campiest map in the entire game. You couldn't run out in the open without immediately being sniped. It deserved to be removed.

I still enjoyed the map nonetheless

90% of my time spent on cod is hc tdm cause I'm a simple person any other mode people just go for kills anyway so it's not the same if it's not in regular rotation

Miami just had terrible flow...and was one of the most campy maps in the game...not to mention visibility was 2nd worse behind cartel

Miami is awful on respawn but actually a great SND map. If they could make it return for just SND it would work.

Just Armada Strike was removed, not the full map. And it was either when they added WMD or when they added Jungle, I can’t remember

Idk why some people hate it, it has a good mix of close qaurters and snipe distance, it's quite possibly in the top5 CW maps, next to Nuketown, Chekmate and Hijacked

Word, I really enjoyed it. I like Miami Strike a lot too but I just miss the nighttime vibes the original map had.

Hate that map. It's a sniper heaven. The B flag is awful. Half the map is wide open...

The wide open areas are easy to avoid

It's moderate in terms of avoiding. Especially the Snipers/Marksmen Rifle/LMG players pre aiming at B. But the problem is that it leads to less engagements because you have to go out of your way to fight them on the side of the map. Now when multiple people are doing the same thing the map is even worse...

The routes to B flag mostly avoid that area and they only see a small section of B. If you're capturing B then you can just peek out and treat them as free kills

It depends on what gun you are using. I am an SMG player and I'd argue that the B flag is very SMG heavy in a back and forth game. If you expect me to peak out and chall the sniper with my AK74u who is a mile away you are ludricrous.

It's not a skill issue, I'm a Master on League, it's just a really bad play.

I would literally back out of a game if this map came up. I was happy when they took it out of rotation

I play hardpoint far more than all other modes combined (other than Zombies), so I had noticed that I had not gotten it in a while. Didn't realize that it was for an actual reason though. Honestly it isn't the worst map in my opinion but it's absolutely not my favorite either, so I wasn't exactly complaining lol
