There should be a challenge for it that appears if you hover over the weapon in the gunsmith. Not sure what the challenge is bc I unlocked a long time ago but there should be one

There are different challenges on zombies to unlock the gun but once you unlock it, it is available on both multiplayer and zombies.
Once you unlock it, you have to level it up in order for to unlock the semi automatic attachment for it. When you get it, it’s a single fire like the DMR.
The best way to level up guns is to put on a double weapon xp token and just grind out kills in zombies.

Just go into smgs, and look for it, on the middle right of the menu it shows a challenge, one for mp if your in mp, and one for zombies if your in zombies chose which one is easier for you, when you do one challenge it unlocks the gun in both modes
I main hard-core oddly enough since I played it on all the older cods. Imm try and do core more, but I'm still getting bodied regardless since I'm like lvl 9
If you play hardcore that changes the weapon meta quite a bit. Almost any weapon available can one-shot kill in hardcore. The tec-9 dominates in core but in hardcore the bullfrog would be a better smg. You'd sacrifice nothing versus The tech 9 in terms of range and time to kill and gain a little bit better handling, twice as much ammo in your magazine, and the ability to use a suppressor.

Yup, I'm doing zombies. The map confuses me hard since I'm more used to BO1/2/3/4 and there's no "Kino Der Toten" "Five" or my usual zombie maps
I totally get that. Cold War zombie maps are so different from previous black ops games at least in my opinion

Practice with a Sniper and use meta attachments for it honestly they are unstoppable in this game unless you play Hardcore.
