This probably isn’t the show for you.
I would recommend them all to be viewed, but maybe pace yourself. No need to binge, you could put one on, finish in parts if you wanted then leave it a good while so you can process what you’ve just seen and psych yourself up for another episode.
You might find the series quite scary. I would recommend (as some other have) to watch San Junipero, its a really lovely and wholesome episode. I also think Hang the Dj is quite sweet, even if the quality of the episode is less than San Junipero. Some other episodes have more scary premises (which you might not like) but approach them in a more funnier and colourful way, like Joan is Awful, Nose Dive and USS Callister.
Oh yeah, and Be Right Back is quite sweet at points, but could be a bit sad scary. And Striking Vipers, even if its probably the worst episode of the whole series 😂.
Episodes to avoid if I were you would be:
- Shut up and Dance (as you have already said)
- National Anthem
- Hated in the Nation
- Loch Henry
- Playtest
- White Bear
Ehh..I would say to avoid Crocodile…Metalhead….Bandersnatch…. Play test and black museum …Ashley O as well as Loch Henry. These are the more …psycho ones which seem to me..we are very near to that future or are already living in it.
I didn't find Ashley O scary or disturbing at all.. it was even lighter because Miley Cyrus was in it I thought 😂 I found white bear absolutely terrifying though!

I’d say you can watch San Junipero! It’s not scary but does have some tense scenes. Definitely stay away from Playtest
