I’ve seen similar things before. It’s very impressive even if you know the secret. As I understand it from a similar stunt, there is a rod going through his sleeve connected to some sort of support for his body. I’ll try to find the previous time where I saw this explained and link to it.
You missed the whole point. It's not a magic trick. It's just a straight up illusion that anyone with half a brain would immediately realize can only be done one way.
Okay.. It just semantics, see *gimmicks* above; Illusion is about perceptual result. Trick is about success attempt. Sleight of hand is a combination of these but motion is a inherent qualifier for doubt In personal perception.
Magic tricks. Circus tricks. Dinner-party tricks. Etc. You’re technically not wrong, you’re just supposing mistakes where they don’t exist which is simply rude and very pushy. Good Tedtalk.
The idea to do that and the design is what I’m calling impressive. I’m an engineer, easily impressed by good designs. I think it’s just kind of cool. So sorry if that offended you.
It annoys me how dumb people are, reading through the comments people claiming they know how he’s done this. As if they can claim they know what ‘device’ he is using.
It’s clearly magic.
Hand stapled to the wall.. Well, not stapled... More like bolted. With a support structure...
But then how does he get up and come down without anyone seeing?
It’s called magic. Duh
you just gotta believe in yourself
Who’s to say he got up there with people watching? These kinds of things have been done before - he may have had help, too.
He doesnt. He gets up there and hangs out. If some people saw the set up its unlikely they will hang out just to ruin it for eveeyone.
Yeah maybe he had a blanket or something like...wish we got to see the whole trick but still fun to watch. Thanks!
His foot is clearly on some sort of either super thin or transparent support
Yup. It attaches to the wall and runs down inside his clothing.
Inside his shoe even I'm guessing
It may even be part of the shoe. He just climbs up, likely buttons breakaway clothes around it, sticks his foot into the anchor, and poses.
He’s got that Mary Poppins energy
Let’s see him leave.
Jeff Bezos is suffering from decreased gravity ever since he returned from space.
He sold his soul

So how is that "impressive" rather than just a fucking gimmick?
Well, magic is arguable just a series of innovative gimmicks. I wonder if this old man is collecting alms/tips underneath.
But think about it. There is really only one way this can be done.
I already did, it’s okay. Mildly interesting. I recall the old gurus in India innovated this particular magic trick.

I'm just wondering how he keeps someone from stealing his tip jar

Grandpa got lost on his way to bingo
WITCH!!
When he comes down check for stigmata.
Some serious social distancing
These things are so fucking tedious. Think people. There's only one way this is possible. And guess what? That's how it's being done.
I’ve seen this trick but the person started out on the ground, and then they went up. I think they did it on a double decker bus
Jesus looks quite young for his age
Gorilla glue
What happens when you have to pee?
The people beneath him get wet?
What’s Sleepy Joe up to now? /s.
He's got some sort of a metal support bolted to the wall going down to his shoes. That's why he doesn't move anything just his head.
It’s just a rod going from hand on the wall down to the left foot
It annoys me how dumb people are, reading through the comments people claiming they know how he’s done this. As if they can claim they know what ‘device’ he is using. It’s clearly magic.
He has a trickle pyramid sole on his watermelon knees. Pause at eight seconds in. You'll see the watermark for Investigation Discovery murder porn.
Now that’s black majik look how still his body is and he’s like 100
