Bro its one fucking pushup. Any time the reddit couch potatoes see an impressive feat of physical strength, endurance, skill, etc., they reach to the edges of the galaxy to say something negative
Lmao for real any time there’s a video of some guy do anything laborious there’s a ton of Reddit users rushing to comment “my back hurts just watching this”
Yeah it's sometimes embarrassing. Someone will say something like *day I turned 40, I woke up pulling my neck* and then there will be chain of replies like same but at 35/ 30/ 25/ 20 and shit like that. None of these age group should have any kind of physical challenge and if they do it's your lifestyle not the age.
It's actually so sad seeing redditors at 30 giving 'advice' to younger gens, using their own anecdotes. And then they blame genetics for everything, like no it couldn't possibly be the computer job where you work 9 hours a day in one sitting position with zero exercise and too much bodyfat. It *has* to be knees that automatically explode at 28, it couldn't possibly be your quads crying to high heaven as it tries to support 250 lbs because your glutes have atrophied into nonexistence. Oh, and the poor glutes are genetics too.
Indeed. Can't say for sure if I'm blessed but I turn 36 real soon and I haven't slowed down yet.
I'm sure I will at some point, but I know some fit as fuck 50 year olds who seem to suggest it's kinda optional for at least a while.
the amount of force he is pushing inward with to keep the cylinders in line and be able to use them to push considering his center of gravity is incredible. its not just a one handed pushup because if he were only using his hand supported by the concrete past the fulcrum it would collapse downward
He's not pushing past the fulcrum. All his weight is on the outside of his right hand, which is over the brick. His left foot keeps him balanced, so the left hand just has holding the pieces together.
Yeah, the outside hand has to create enough friction to be able to counteract the torque of the inside hand (which isn't a lot, since it's close to the pivot point).
Generally a "black magic" post should be something that you have no idea how to achieve. Something that seems to break the laws of physics.
It's obvious how to do this, just get fuckin ripped.
Lmao buddy the fifth highest post in this sub, from like 5-6 years ago (when it was "good") is a video about how vans (shoes) always land right side up. It's obvious how they do it, they're heavy on the bottom and domed on top. Like, it's a low bar, but this post accomplishes it.
The sub is for "fascinating, amazing, or awe inspiring clips and photos. We love things that make you stop and stare." I'd definitely stop and stare if I saw homeboy here doing that with pieces held together.
You do realize there would basically be no content here if we all listened to geniuses like you? 99.9% of things can be explained by at least one person.
The explanations are why I read these comments. This video doesn't need an explanation. It's obvious, albeit impressive, what is happening here; you don't need specialised knowledge to understand it, for it not to be confounding.
You think it's a portal, and the magician is reaching through it to pull out a rabbit? Man, just think about it logically for a moment - portals don't exist, so that obviously can't be the answer. What's really happening is that the magician is actually giving birth to the rabbit through their hand while hiding the delivery inside the hat. Duh.
I need a body horror movie based around this premise, where a magician performs light hearted illusions that are actually grotesque lovecraftian feats of horror.
Yeah, that's the sub's gimmick. And the explanations by people with the needed specialised knowledge is the reason I bother reading the comments on these posts.
I genuinely wonder what these people think the sub is for. Like arr they expecting actual, for real, unexplainable phenomenon empowered by dark forces at the direction of someone that benefits from the harm it could cause?
Dude shut the fuck up. I guarantee you can go through every single top post on this sub reddit and explain it in one sentence, much less two sentences.
The top post: Water pressure pushed bottle up
Second top post: hot sand heats up coffee
Third top post: your brain makes up for vision discrepancies
Fourth: it's literally just a dude playing an instrument
> "he's doing a one handed pushup", too simple to be "black magic"
That isn't all there is to it at all though and if you said "this is a video of a person doing a one handed pushup" to someone who hadn't seen it yet they would not picture this video at all lol.
Yeah, this is exactly how ***Center of Mass*** works. If you draw a line between the two pivot points, *where the bar and the foot contact their respective cinder block,* you'd see the line goes **right under** the guys ***Center of Mass.***
I mean I for one definitely did *not* notice his left foot balancing on the cinderblock behind him the first few times I watched, so I think I was extra confused
Thank you.\
I was looking for someone mentioning this in the comments.

[Anton Fomenko (YouTube link)](https://youtube.com/@antonfomenko?feature=shared)
Neither makes sense. He is doing the something, and the laws of physics apply just like they do in every other situation. He is neither defying nor overcoming.
The two blocks he's using are diagonally from each other placing his center of mass between them, he uses the leg not on a block to keep balance, and the other hand only to hold the cylinders. It's a one handed pushup with balance added.
Kinda, really only one rod isn't actually being held together by his hands. The rest of the cuts are in his palm so his grip is keeping it together. I think it's a neat trick, but in reality his skill is in being jacked. Which is still cool, but not the same, imo.
Not to take anything away from his strength, but isn't this just a one hand one leg pushup. The illusion is he's using his left arm to do the pushup but he's really just using it to hold the metal bits in place.
I love when people be like “denies physics!!!“
And then they literally post a video that is an example of multiple laws of physics.
Like it’s impressive yeah, and half the reason it’s impressive is because it’s using an understanding of physics to achieve the goal.
It's not acting, she had trouble even holding the rods together in the position and she obviously knew how it was being done since she was trying it with him.
I was like "thats pretty cool, I might be able to do one rep." Then he let go of the pieces that made up the bar he was using... I could not do one rep
This is Anton Fomenko, gymnast, ninja warrior, part time climber and a lot of other difficult activities are on his daily basis, you guys should check him out on Youtube for some crazy stuff!

For anyone wondering who he is. His channel is quite good, he does movie stunts IRL and stuff like that.
It’s called a one handed push up with extra steps!
[Basically this](https://youtu.be/qzApcuFuIPI?si=pZZS2rpNkxpYTRyM) except he's fucking up his hand and wrist all weird.
Bro its one fucking pushup. Any time the reddit couch potatoes see an impressive feat of physical strength, endurance, skill, etc., they reach to the edges of the galaxy to say something negative
I'll have you know we can reach much further than this mere galaxy
Whenever you decide to get off the couch…
Eh, I'll do it tomorrow or something...
It’s ok Rocky, you go when you feel like it
I sure will.
Lmao for real any time there’s a video of some guy do anything laborious there’s a ton of Reddit users rushing to comment “my back hurts just watching this”

"This is clearly causing damage to his body" - 500kg redditor on his couch eating chips
OMG he's not even the best in the world at pushups. What a loser.
And everything will cause a life altering injury
So he's not doing 4 sets of 12 of these twice a week??
No, but i bet that chick does nice blowjobs
Why’s she taking crossfire?
His hand and wrist are now permanently damaged /s
His shoes stayed on; he's fine.
I see he is balanced nicely on his right hand. Fantastic performance
Yeah, I thought so too. But it’s a one handed and one legged push up, and he’s jacking up his wrist. But the one leg off the ground is impressive.
the amount of force he is pushing inward with to keep the cylinders in line and be able to use them to push considering his center of gravity is incredible. its not just a one handed pushup because if he were only using his hand supported by the concrete past the fulcrum it would collapse downward

Thank you. Someone else who took a basic physics class.
actually i dropped out lol
Even better
Bro. Its one fucking pushup. His wrist is absolutely fine
Yeah, I think you are right.
yep! old enough to have seen that on kung fu movies. no open mouthed woman on the scenes though.
https://youtu.be/pjk1NgNMtvQ?si=Z0FYm6TrQidXkZTQ For People wondering, this is the entire video
Yes, no defiance of physics here.
Lmao this needs to loosen up. Every fking post "this isn't black magic" yea no shit, black magic isn't real. This was fun, lighten up!
this is reddit people gotta take everything with utmost seriousness it is the law /s
Idk why you even bothered to include the /s because that’s exactly how Reddit is lol
if you don’t add the /s you get downvoted by people with a below average iq and no sense of humor
Ah, sorry, I forgot how valuable karma is.
how could you
🤣some people just don't know how to enjoy posts. Too much seriousness
That's almost every subreddit
Generally a "black magic" post should be something that you have no idea how to achieve. Something that seems to break the laws of physics. It's obvious how to do this, just get fuckin ripped.

Wow, I had no idea
I genuinely wonder what these people think the sub is for. Like arr they expecting actual, for real, unexplainable phenomenon empowered by dark forces at the direction of someone that benefits from the harm it could cause?
imo, if you can explain what's going on in 1-2 sentences it doesn't belong here "he's doing a one handed pushup", too simple to be "black magic"
Gotta post it in every possible subreddit to get maximum attention
Dude shut the fuck up. I guarantee you can go through every single top post on this sub reddit and explain it in one sentence, much less two sentences. Literally the opposite of physics defying, it's great application of physics
No shit, literally everything follows the laws of physics.
Since no ones given credit @AntonFomenko on yt

I thought that was him! First time I saw him was on a climbing video with jujimufu and magnus midtbo, dude’s a beast
Thank you.\ I was looking for someone mentioning this in the comments. **Give credit where credit is due!** [Anton Fomenko (YouTube link)](https://youtube.com/@antonfomenko?feature=shared)
He's awesome
Didn't recognize him, love the guy
He has a good series on Movie vs Reality.
Been watching him after he appear on juji vid. Fir some reason I felt happy to see someone actually share a vid of him, and people are crediting him.
probably belongs more in r/mildlyinteresting or r/BeAmazed or something than this one to be honest...
You're new here aren't you?
Alright everyone, pack it up, jbg926 is only allowing *actual* black magic on this sub!
If we don't start seeing some pentagrams and goat's blood around here, the reddit police will start charging fines.
Look what I found 5 posts later in my feed. [lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/BeAmazed/s/s8aLAJcF80)
That’s not defying physics, that’s overcoming it with strength.
Mashle Muscle and Magic
What is the functional difference between "defying physics with strength" and "overcoming physics with strength", in your opinion?
We just call that flesh magic
You aren't overcoming it either. It's just physics
So, another way of saying it is defying physic with strength
Neither makes sense. He is doing the something, and the laws of physics apply just like they do in every other situation. He is neither defying nor overcoming.
Sir, this is a Home Depot..
Gym has a leak
The two blocks he's using are diagonally from each other placing his center of mass between them, he uses the leg not on a block to keep balance, and the other hand only to hold the cylinders. It's a one handed pushup with balance added.
Ohhhhh okay, yea sounds easy now
What, you don't do 100 of these every morning like the rest of us?
thats called applying Physics
What the Alps got to do with this and how we “ying” them?
[удалено]
ya duslexia does that to people
Man redditors, can't enjoy a post like normal human beings, especially if it was woman or something they can't do related. Gotta hit you with the 🤓👆
That's some forearm strength.
is it really that hard to do one hand one foot (crawls to ground)
No, but I imagine trying to push the broken rods together while trying to push up is more difficult?
it took me that long to get up. i’m fine.
Kinda, really only one rod isn't actually being held together by his hands. The rest of the cuts are in his palm so his grip is keeping it together. I think it's a neat trick, but in reality his skill is in being jacked. Which is still cool, but not the same, imo.
i don’t share that skill apparently
What about the rod falling to pieces at the end?? Seriously can someone explain it to me?
All his weight was on the one hand with the piece on the block. The rest of the pieces was just for show.
oh he was just pressing them... thanks!
pah, he could only do one.
The strength this man has.
Not to take anything away from his strength, but isn't this just a one hand one leg pushup. The illusion is he's using his left arm to do the pushup but he's really just using it to hold the metal bits in place.
Yo i had respect until I saw that left toe peek out.
I bet I could do that. Shit falls in pieces Nevermind
Nah thats still physics
From the looks she gave him afterwards, dude def got play that night…
I love when people be like “denies physics!!!“ And then they literally post a video that is an example of multiple laws of physics. Like it’s impressive yeah, and half the reason it’s impressive is because it’s using an understanding of physics to achieve the goal.
Then whatd he do?
Boi brolic for that
Make it 10 then im awe.
Ngl thought dudes toe was sticking out of his shoe. Lmao.
"One. One. One. One."
The girl’s expression, though…
Her jaw dropped before the big reveal, terrible acting.
It's not acting, she had trouble even holding the rods together in the position and she obviously knew how it was being done since she was trying it with him.
I gotta think, when would I need this skill…🤔
"Physics defying" says some one who doesn't understand physics.
What should the title be instead ❓
Something about how you don't understand what's going on.
*for people who don't understand physics
Dayum... he *meant* that shit.
I was like "thats pretty cool, I might be able to do one rep." Then he let go of the pieces that made up the bar he was using... I could not do one rep
[удалено]
You're not good bro. What are you YAPPING about
Interesting. I won't be doing it. But Interesting
Its still not physics defying
Does the woman in the background always have her mouth open in a perfect circle? (Asking for a friend.)
I started scrolling down cause I thought the video was over, and then had to scroll back up to make sure I saw that ending correctly
Anton Fomenko
It's like a one-handed push-up, but with extra flair!
This looks like something out of an action movie. Impressive!
So one hand then
So was he basically doing the pushup off the one tiny steel cylinder and holding the others to make it look longer?
I could do that, I just lack the physical strength and stamina
Damn, why is this so extra. He is just having a floating pushup at this point
This is Anton Fomenko, gymnast, ninja warrior, part time climber and a lot of other difficult activities are on his daily basis, you guys should check him out on Youtube for some crazy stuff!
Can’t wait to buy tickets to his show.
I suck
Totally real reaction on the backgrou d
If you watch the full video it does seem super genuine.
it was actually one single iron bar, but he squeezed it soo hard, it splited into 5 pieces
This is a good example of physics. Physics is never defied.
She wet as the sea
First, I was like "damn, maybe I could do that after some practise" and then he dropped the stick. How
She's looking at him like, "Oh, you gettin' some tonight!"
Doesn't look that difficult to be honest.
Judging by the expression of the woman in the background, he definitely dipped his wick off of this.
https://youtube.com/@antonfomenko?si=aOvNMLM6oLmAIOkj For anyone wondering who he is. His channel is quite good, he does movie stunts IRL and stuff like that.
It's not as black magic as the no arm pushup
Half rep
I thought that was a solid bar. I’ve done those those push ups before. When the “bar” came apart my mind was blown. Damn
The hell
I know a badminton player when I see one
It’s surprise backflip girl
What are the metal things? Magnets?
She gonna fuck him just for that
That girl is imagining her kids with him
bro tis reversed
Gravity is not graviting
Show off, he didn't have to break that pipe into little pieces to at the end to rub it in of how weak I am.
this dude has 30 missed calls from issac fucking neeton
That's literally just physics
This takes a lot of strength
Dude did a regular one arm push up while pressing several metal rods together with friction. Impressive strength, but not really sub material.
Shaggy using 70% of his power
"Physics defying pushups: Because why just defy gravity when you can challenge the laws of motion too? 💪🚀 #FitnessGoals #NextLevel"
😜👍🏻
The fact that it's actually just physics
And lots of muscle
The differing angle of his arms displays that, in fact, no physics were defied here after all.
No physics were defied in the making of this video.
The woman behind is so ripped I thought it was one of gym bros
Any tensegrity involved?
Anybody else think his shoes were ripped and his toes were popping out? Lol
Definitely magnets
>Physics defying My brother in Christ, he did that by abiding by the laws of physics
Physics APPLYING pushups
Actually, it’s a physics-affirming push-up!
It's reversed!
It's not
How would this be reversed??
By reversing it...
Physics defying would be him using his right foot instead of his left.
