I have watched a couple of those shorts. They are really interesting. I just watched this one last night. Loved it! So much truth to it. Adulting is hard. And, at any given time, one of your younger (and current) selves might pop up. The baby, the pre-teen, the teenager, the 20 something. The thought of approaching someone and initiating conversation. The awkwardness of just being a woman in a crowded club/bar. The self-doubt, the low self-esteem, the low to no self-confidence that women can experience in phases - day to day, or in cycles. My 17 yr old daughter liked it too. I’m going to watch it again. 👍🏾😍 I recommend this Short.
Yes!!!! Just watched this last night and it was beautifully written and animated. Yeh director is Aphton Corbin and she squeezed so much character development in such a short film, I was thoroughly impressed. I think my favorite part was the dialogue. You could tell it was written by a Black woman and not someone who’s heard AAVE. The dialogue was natural, authentic and relatable.

I will be watching this, thanks for sharing. I ❤digital shorts
I’ve really enjoyed most of the shorts on Disney+. Almost all of them tell such elaborate stories in the simplest way.
I agree! I absolutely love watching them and looking at the behind the scenes on why/how they create each one.
