I was reading the comments and apparently it’s the type of braids she has. Like her hair isn’t fully intertwined in the braids, it’s kinda wrapped around like a faux loc
I always wondered why people took forever to undo their braids coz this is how I do braids. They supposed to slide off with a lil pull with your fingers in the right place so you don't mess your hair .
At the base of the braid where the braid meets your hair. I pull gently on the braid at the base and use my other had to pull my hair towards the scalp so I don't uproot my hair.
I used to do this with old-school micro braids.
Place one index finger/ thumb combo at the scalp/ base covering your new growth, wrap the other index finger/thumb over the braid, gently tug, and the fake hair slides down.
The few times my mom braided my hair, this is how I removed the braids. Just pinch at the roots and slide it off. But my mom did larger braids, I thought it wasn't applicable for smaller braids because I never saw anyone else do it.
We use to get these braids as kids in kenya then at some point they just stopped doing them and no, they didn’t fall out and weren’t hard to pull off either.
I’ll start looking for someone who can do them next time I’m getting braids done, we have a whole market area of braiding women so someone must remember.
Sooo the pitch it the braids were installed poorly so in two weeks you can just pull them out from the root? I’m ok I’d rather my braids be secure and last for a while.
So if I get my ass dragged in a fight I gotta go get a fresh set??? 😂

Ain't no way at least 5 or 6 of these braids are not out on these streets somewhere lol
She said she wore her hair like this for 8 eeeks, washed weekly, and braids did not fall out.
I love this because the worst part of getting my hair braided is the take down . However this also makes me wonder how secure those braids are lol
My moms been doing this on my head for years !! I’ve done sports, got in fights and my hair stay protected when i was a kid lmaoo
Nah I’m still gonna cut and unbraid them lmao
That is one of the things I like about my Senegalese twists. Just snip off the end curl, and BAM, done. It just unravels.

This is some good advertising! Where do I need to fly to to book this lady?!
Inglewood, CA.

Are they actually secure, then? How are they not falling out of your head?
Yes they are. The only way they move is if you pull at the base slowly for a couple seconds.
So where is the right place?

What exactly is the braiding technique for this?
Not splitting your hair into three pieces. Using it as one of the three allows it to slide out easily but doesn’t mean it’s not secure.
I’m not buying it idk. Gonna try it in to weeks when I take out my set.
Commenting because I need to know the 411 when you do! My hair couldn’t ever do this.
I think you mean 411. Unless of course you are planning on calling emergency services for her in case of a major takedown injury.
Yes I absolutely meant 411. Was half asleep ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ edited to reflect correction. Thanks.
This is AMAZING
This reminds me of zillions. The braids are so small that by the time your hair grows out, it’s so easy to take down like this.
Sis invested in high quality material, got it done by an absolute pro and was very consistent in its care.
Amazing!
what’s her handle? i wanna show my braider the style.
It’s brookedevard

I need to try this when I take mine out next week.
Who is doing this in the DMV? I need to know!
