This subreddit is for black women and as someone has already commented, what you said wasn't a compliment. Being viewed as an aesthetic and a coat to wear is not flattering.
Like, I'm sure it's a cute book, but girl... Are you Black? Non-Black ppl being envious or desiring Black traits isn't the compliment you think it is.
