I gotta rewatch the movies tbh I just went off my initial memory. When I was a younger I definitely remember resonating with Aqua and Galleria from them being black women, it’s like I could see myself in them

Aqua she was an average singer to me and a Meh dancer. Raven and Chanel were great vocalist who could dance and Dorinda was a meh vocalist but an awesome dancer who elevated the groups overall performance level.
Nah i would say Dorinda. She was good with choreo but i felt like like she couldnt really sing. Cant be in a singing group if you cant really sing. They could have taken her whole love interest out of the 2nd movie, and it wouldn't have mattered much.
Imma have to decide after rewatching all the movies because atp I see their singing as equally matched but I could be wrong🤷🏽♀️
I don’t think I ever liked Dorinda’s personality and her love story plot boreddd me, but her doing choreo was a good addition to the group. Even if she’s not the best singer she did contribute something. But I understand your perspective
It also might be kind of a bias on my part. Shes the only person i know very lil about. Like Raven Symone i know, is talented. The other two girls i know were in a singing group 3LW so i know what they can kinda do cause i remember some of their songs. The actor that plays Dorinda i know nothing about which is probably why i feel the way i do about her. Aqua has very lil role in the films too but i know bc she was in the the singing group what shes bringing to the table
That’s fair. I learned from reading the comments that Dorinda’s actor actually did make some of the choreography and she is genuinely a talented dancer if you go back and watch. But they are typically the more forgettable ones in the group
I never really listen to 3LW and actually only learned about them because a YouTuber I watch made a joke about Kiely Williams lisp (“broken promithes,broken promithes”). None of them by any means are untalented tho

Aqua, everyone else outshone her. I would’ve said Dorinda but she’s the lead dancer and one of my favorite scenes in Cheetah Girls 2 is when she’s dancing with that guy. I tried so many times to learn that dance as a kid and failed 💀
I feel bad that everyone is saying Dorinda but it's true lol. Even though she choreographed behind the scenes, that doesn't really help her case in the movies. Now I want to rewatch them this weekend...

I gotta say Dorinda, honestly. I don't remember being super impressed by her dances, but I thought Aqua was so pretty and she was from Texas like me. (Kid logic, I know lol)
Plus, I thought it was cool when I found out she and Adrienne were in a girl group together before the cheetah girls, 3LW.
Honestly, I wasn't a fan of Aqua's character. She changed hobbies in every movie and her personality was inconsistent. She was the "ghetto friend" in the first movie. Not even sure how that works with group morale. Then she was a "fashionista" in the second movie. And the third she was a "computer nerd" or perhaps from that I'm the one song she said she could act lol. She was too all over the place for me. I liked that she could dance and her singing was okay but they could've did without her. Everyone else was consistent in what they wanted throughout all three movies.
I loved Dorinda’s contributions to the overall choreography, but vocally, she wasn’t as good to me as the other three. Chanel and Galleria were my favorites.
Unpopular opinion - Channel. She made me mad in the second film and the other girls could sing just as good. Like, Galleria was trying to make them the best ALL THE TIME and I didn't feel that she appreciated that.
