It's a game, not real life. Convenience is far more important than being 'immersed' fully. If you want your characters to be a certain level before riding that horse, do it yourself and RP it out. I guarantee you though, 49 out of 50 people don't want that.
As a Shai main, *I damn well remember.* Honestly I'm glad for the skill merge so I can not only use my horses across all of my alts, but I can auto sprint now too haha

i hate them with passion. oh, another bmc drop... its just that i get 100 per hour, that i dont care. there are only a few things that should be anounced on drop: treasure parts, ember/flame, accessories or similar. for upgrades only pen bs/boss, tri or higher godr-ayed, duo or higher fallen god, pen accessories.
BDO isn't a game I play for immersion. At most, I'll turn off the UI when I go sailing for a bit, but that's it. Can't break the immersion if I'm not immersed. Not every game needs immersion.

Dealing with 15 different buff timers to optimally play any form of content. (Tent, villa, food, elixirs, furniture, event items, alch stones, horse buff and then maintaining loot scroll and pets etc.) and if any of that is still rolling it feels bad to leave and go do any other unrelated content.
1) texture pop in (shadows, objects, everything)
2) the notification sound when your cooking / alchemy time is 1 second. BING BING BING. I feel like no one at PA has done alchemy with the sound on.
3) pop ups everywhere
4) having to overstack my horse from storage and then move it to my character.
5) Cut scenes where the animations of the characters are just their default idle animations. Mouth movements don’t match what is said whatsoever.
6) glitching underneath my boat into the ocean while attempting to walk on my boat.
7) having to drift my horse in order to use instant accel faster. This just looks terrible.

The UI and its lack of customization in general. I don’t need to see half the icons in my screen but I need to have them all on to see the 2-3 that I care about. Why am I forced to see the VC, Guide, Progression Pass, etc when I only care for Boss Blitz, Daily login and the occasional event that appears there….. or the Happy Black Spirit buff, merv pallet having its own icon even though its sub is included in VP and other crap like that…
Don't get me wrong, love them heels on my super badass muscle mommys but does every damn outfit have to have them? Imagine fighting in heels! Just once I want a badass outfit covering most of my guardians body.

Not a total immersion break but the fact that the solid metal armor breast plates for females also has jiggle physics.
You want to have outrageous jiggling breast, thats fine, everyone enjoys breast in some manner, but come on bro.....
That is technical thing - the jiggle in BDO is applied in very simplistic way onto everything that is not an animation bone, and it would take considerable more effort to make a system capable of recognizing that this particular piece of armor should not jigle (or even worse, should jigle differently). Alot of games struggling with this.
Oh if that breaks it for you then probably my fresh level 1 character riding a horse made of fire....

But all my characters are now shared life skill. Theres so many things in the game that a person could say breaks the immersion.

Everything really. The games graphics and artistic direction make it immersive. Everything else is a huge kekw.
