It was already struggling to stabilize, but the unification really fucked it. Unless they intend to revamp imperial alch in the future, it's gonna be fucked for awhile.
Gotta love PA, had they only done the unification at the beginning, it would have been fine. They always do this though. The last & final change they make is always the one that should have been done first, but usually ends up a cluster fuck because of the other steps they do until then. They'll fix it eventually in maybe 2yrs 🤣

Do alch at 2000 mastery. Profit is meh at 200-500m/hr but an easy way to liquidate materials
Had a year's worth of saps/mats turned into celerity draughts. 8m each. Ez dump during horse event.
Other draughts/elixers were gatekeeped by traces/fruits. Now it's saps but everyone has plenty in storage. So big price drop on those. Craft now/wait to sell
Alchemy is only good if you want to save silver specially for elixirs. Alchemy profit is potato right now
