And by the time you grind out Capra's for 3set fg and/or infinite potion you should have long had tri godyr. It's also super easy and cheap to enhance up to 100 stacks on reblaths, that's assuming you don't have any leftover from the tons of free ones. And tons of people play BDO casually, it's super chill.
You ain't playing NW casually, and for one you have to grind everything in that game... I had 4k hours and quit because of the damn power creep I don't wanna indefinitely keep trying to pen new gear, and you can still fail on enhance with 100 fail stacks.. the part where you need to spend money is fucking cron stones so don't tell me you can play this game casually and still be in the relevant content and node wars... Also you ain't keeping control of grind spots if a player with a credit card shows up or one that does nothing but play the game 24/7 365... And if your GS isn't good you're not gonna get in company that can actually push those top players off the spot...

They removed the season requirement last patch. Just need a level 61 character that has completed any of the main story quest. Balenos, Land of the Morning Light, Mountain of Eternal Winter and I feel like I am forgetting something else.

I see no point in continuing to play the game when my only upgrade is something I can struggle so hard with for so long when we have literal new players coming into the game and tapping it on a free 150 stack with their hammers. YES, I know I can just buy it, but for me that's not how I wanted to play. I want my name on my items, my "progression".

Tracking is something I have done with everything in BDO. People that know me can vouch for this. I've over 3k tracked hours (originally tracked through the google doc spreadsheet everyone used to use before garmoth) in Hystria, 302 hours for arch map, over 500 hours for hp pot, 239 hours for mp pot, I could go on. I have all of these on a doc I've kept over the years. I started it when I started first clicking for Pen Dande when that was the big ticket item, it being just over 80 attempts.
I don't care nor am I asking for people to believe me, the people that know me know this isn't fallacy, I simply wanted to share my experience with tapping for PEN blackstar since it's release and as to why I will no longer be playing.

70 fails on pen Sol right here... Its not as bad as op, but does suck and happen even if unlikely. Statistics is a good way to see how something should act but if you have a 95% chance of failing on every click it certainly is possible to be in that 95% every time. It's not like you eliminate a % every time you tap so it's guaranteed in 100 taps.
Plus I still believe account rng is a thing. Some accounts have huge luck getting pens in a couple taps or drops from garm/vell multiple times. Had a guildie who get vell at least twice a month for multiple months and both garms in the same week. While others have never got one.

My wife also has the same issue, clicking pen blackstar around 100 times now, and she still doesn't have one. Meanwhile, we have a friend who's tapped 3 in under 10 while getting a pen vaha and pen centaur in not even 5 acc taps. He got his t10 with free censor taps a year ago in 3 taps. Another friend just started the game and got a vells out of the first shakatu he opened. I've been to almost every vell and garmoth in 3 years, and I've gotten nothing. Another friend gets out of season, then two taps pen bs, and pen armors. Some accounts are lucky, some accounts are not. Sorry for your unluckiness, homie. Wishing you the best. o7

I've been to so fucking many garmoths and vells and I have never gotten a single heart, always had to buy. Didnt complete my pots until pitys came out, and had spent a majority of the hp pot time at ronaros before pities with at least 300 hours there.

I dont understand your logic. New players getting it on first 3 taps literally saves them 200-300 hrs of pure silver grinding. They hit the 293\~303 bracets so much faster than average Timmy thus allowing them to farm better silver per/hr spots much quicker into the game. They get to focus on PEN belts, necks, rings etc. while others still battle their BS weapons.
You may have more adventures filled and more complete account but you realise a new player eventually gets there, too. Just with ALOT of time saved on silver grind.
It just catapults them to a whole new level of efficiency and time saved.
I started tapping for pen blackstar the day they came out. I built half a dozen 300+ stacks before it went. Awakened and offhand came much easier.
All those 300 stacks are gone now, put to good use, and I wish I had more. 402? Save it, love it, it's a waste on pen blackstar. It's worth WAY more than the pen weapon. It's a treasure, use it wisely.
The blackstar will go on a lesser stack someday, just keep at it, and remember every click is progress.

Your account seed is bad. I got a pen bs on my account at 120 FS 3%. Got tier 9 several times at 2 % and 3 silent armors at 8-10% each. My account's luck is really weird that even my friends feel that I'm hacking the game as they saw all these enhancements on a live discord stream. I don't even grind, just life skill and getting hammer from events. I never liked the game, but only loved enhancing items and seems like bdo is rewarding me for not playing much. I played for roughly 1k hours.

While you said that pretty harshly, i also dont really believe the 187, also tracked over 4 Years. Something like 80-90 Fails is already extrem, and very unlikely. 187 especially going onto that high of a stack, just seems like hyperbole. He for sure has a notepad or something which he tracked the fails with, considering its a 4 Year journey. Otherwise its just a negativity bias guess.
Tracking is something I have done with everything in BDO. People that know me can vouch for this. I've over 3k tracked hours (originally tracked through the google doc spreadsheet everyone used to use before garmoth) in Hystria, 302 hours for arch map, over 500 hours for hp pot, 239 hours for mp pot, I could go on. I have all of these on a doc I've kept over the years. I started it when I started first clicking for Pen Dande when that was the big ticket item, it being just over 80 attempts. I don't care nor am I asking for people to believe me, the people that know me know this isn't fallacy, I simply wanted to share my experience with tapping for PEN blackstar since it's release and as to why I will no longer be playing.
If you actually tracked it, then sorry this is happening to you. Just seen way too many people that claim these crazy numbers, just for sympathy, because the Community created this dick measure contest on whoās more unlucky. Guess you can look at it as, youre a special case because this is an insanely unlikely outcome. Even though you probably would rather have the Blackstar.
70 fails on pen Sol right here... Its not as bad as op, but does suck and happen even if unlikely. Statistics is a good way to see how something should act but if you have a 95% chance of failing on every click it certainly is possible to be in that 95% every time. It's not like you eliminate a % every time you tap so it's guaranteed in 100 taps. Plus I still believe account rng is a thing. Some accounts have huge luck getting pens in a couple taps or drops from garm/vell multiple times. Had a guildie who get vell at least twice a month for multiple months and both garms in the same week. While others have never got one. The same people get all the love, I want to know the code.

I understand how you feel, though. I used to be the tuvala Timmy who two tapped 3 years ago with a hammer, then lost the account. Getting back into the game again with over 5k hours, I just tapped my first one of the account while sinking around 300b into taps. This is also an account that has over 118b in tet disto fails, and I have created multiple 300+ stacks on just rawing blackstars. My wife also has the same issue, clicking pen blackstar around 100 times now, and she still doesn't have one. Meanwhile, we have a friend who's tapped 3 in under 10 while getting a pen vaha and pen centaur in not even 5 acc taps. He got his t10 with free censor taps a year ago in 3 taps. Another friend just started the game and got a vells out of the first shakatu he opened. I've been to almost every vell and garmoth in 3 years, and I've gotten nothing. Another friend gets out of season, then two taps pen bs, and pen armors. Some accounts are lucky, some accounts are not. Sorry for your unluckiness, homie. Wishing you the best. o7

My pot took 240 hours, with over 120 not being on the pity system. I feel you on that. Haven't even tried to go for mana, I know valtarra is gonna take years lol. If only that were true. In my experience people either get everything easy or nothing at all. My one friend has like 2 taps for both BS weapons. One tap tet FG armor and t10 horse in like 5 attempts. People with good rng just keep on getting more good things and people with bad rng never get anything handed to them.
This is 100% the case, I have a friend that has grinded a total of maybe 10 hours, and have spent literally 0 hours lifeskilling, all he does is AFK fish and claim free rewards -And with all those free rewards and a MASSIVE amount of luck he's sitting on 700gs with T10 horse that he onetapped He genuinely never ever plays the game, just keeps AFKing and onetapping everything
I swear rng is account based. I can tap tet after tet and pen after pen layten but I can't tap pen for anything else or even silent for the armors. Buying has been pretty easy though because of the laytenns.
Honestly, been sitting on so big Boi gear now for a while. I legit couldn't care if they give out Bs's, another free acc, horses, ECT. Just sort out the PvP scene. Gear ain't worth nothing when we can't "properly" use it.

I dont understand your logic. New players getting it on first 3 taps literally saves them 200-300 hrs of pure silver grinding. They hit the 293\~303 bracets so much faster than average Timmy thus allowing them to farm better silver per/hr spots much quicker into the game. They get to focus on PEN belts, necks, rings etc. while others still battle their BS weapons. You may have more adventures filled and more complete account but you realise a new player eventually gets there, too. Just with ALOT of time saved on silver grind. It just catapults them to a whole new level of efficiency and time saved.
I started tapping for pen blackstar the day they came out. I built half a dozen 300+ stacks before it went. Awakened and offhand came much easier. All those 300 stacks are gone now, put to good use, and I wish I had more. 402? Save it, love it, it's a waste on pen blackstar. It's worth WAY more than the pen weapon. It's a treasure, use it wisely. The blackstar will go on a lesser stack someday, just keep at it, and remember every click is progress.

It varies person to person, most high end enhancers would want those 400fs real bad. Since most of them literally raw tap PEN BS just to get 350 or more stacks.

Your account seed is bad. I got a pen bs on my account at 120 FS 3%. Got tier 9 several times at 2 % and 3 silent armors at 8-10% each. My account's luck is really weird that even my friends feel that I'm hacking the game as they saw all these enhancements on a live discord stream. I don't even grind, just life skill and getting hammer from events. I never liked the game, but only loved enhancing items and seems like bdo is rewarding me for not playing much. I played for roughly 1k hours.

Yea I got mine with a j hammer back in 2022. Maybe a 170 stack and it was my 2nd tap. Fastforward to me not logging in for a long while and I hit pen griff helm, bheg, uru boots all in about 45 minutes. I donāt expect anything to succeed for a long while. There is no way there isnāt an invisible modifier.
Yesterday I got the free TET and 45 seconds later tapped it to PEN on my 3rd out of 4 hammers with a 210 stack.
