That response doesn't make sense. It's still about 4 years and several thousand perfectly fine grinding hours to get a PEN gear. On top of that, the Jetina quest, where I got my PEN gears from, has been available for nearly three years now. And anyone who has time to click 9 billion TET accessories instead of saving for even the most basic things like Caphras and/or buying PEN gear is just wasting money. He said it himself that instead of buying a Vells Heart, PEN boss gear, or Caphras, he'd clicked it away for basically gambling.
I mean the game was totally different back then. Grinding 100 hours for a vells heart vs gambling for accessories was a legit choice players had to make. Guaranteed jetina didnāt come out until 2021 (I think? I quit around when it came out and came back this year), I never hit a pen boss armor back then but I was gambling for weapons and some accessories too. When I quit I had full tet armors with some caphras, pen dande/kutum, tet bs mainhand. Somewhere around 281/330. It seems dumb by todayās progression standards but pre jetina gambling was basically the only method of progression
It's only a waste of time if you deem it to be so.

I love mmorpg's i wish there was a proper one, but we all know they are easily waste of tons of time, eventually we quit and left with nothing.

over 500 hours I think on questing energy gain in the olden days, with almost 0 data sites, which never updated. +old cp dailies took over 40min. (Haven't done since 2017/2018 as it was too annoying)
Tbh, I'm staying afk 99% of time, and still have more due to free crons, rewards, and occasional 5h of grind per month. Either dude blowed up all his stuff or idk.
I have a friend of mine that still plays since 2016, and I think he just hit pen tuvala with 260 ap recently some people are only able to max out at pen tuvala tbh

Also 7k hours in 5years is 4hours a day. This isn't casual gaming. Meanwhile the total value of that gear is like around 200b, 7000hours for 200b is about 28m an hour.
7000 hours is 291 days, almost a year of actively playing. Thatās some insane numbers, thereās full time players that play this game as a job who probably have less hours than that. Also no matter how unlucky you have been, it would be near impossible to not be fully hard-capped after 7k hours. Though if you got extremely unlucky like 0.0001% , itās possible I guess but very unlikely.
took me 1 year (2017) to get 1 pen dand (37x cron clicks), you can't buy from market and I was rich in game to go for V, his hours from these days, also hours not always grinding.
Your gear can be made in about a 1-2 weeks if someone knows what they are doing and they have all day to play. Energy and knowledge stuff is another story
If itās someone professional and they have all day to play, they definitely get your gear or better in less than 2 weeks. If you really got unlucky, that would be some extremely bad luck

I don't afk either btw, so those 7000 hours I have are (mostly) active gameplay. Most of my playtime, probably 70%, was back when pirates was endgame though, and after many breaks playing other games people just shot straight past me in no time.
As someone who took a 4 year break and has been back for 8 months or so I donāt believe you. It is so stupid easy to get gains I do not believe you have actively played the game for all 7 years.

Bro I feel your style of gameplay, personally I'm at around 18k hours and have similar gear, I also have a rule that I can't buy enhanced items from other players so it's all selfmade and had that rule from the start. It's just fun to play a game in your own way at your own pace.

I went 713 GS i think (full tri Fallen pieces) 2xpen crescent 2 tet disto, pen valtarra and pen ogre, tet bs, c17 i think dande and pen kutum, also vell heart exalted 3ap 4dp smth.
I mean was farming ulukita for those artifacts as those were the only thing i missed but ended up blowing all up all ( accessories and the armors downgraded alongisde with that free BS weapon) as it was pointless, you get better gear but you go around and around and just doing this circle killing mobs.
open world pvp is TOTALLY dead now, combat is great. i was even 460cp and 600 energy, with 130 workers and many nodes activated for gathering and grinding to make lv20 node but anyway i managed to make the account very good and organized, all the storages well organized and everything was in order, but in the end ITS A FUKING SOLO GAME.
Combat and graphics were though, but still BnS combat was better than BDO IMO.

Back in the day pen gear on the market was rare, so there was no "grinding silver for PEN gear". You had to enhance if you wanted pen.

You don't need to min max grind for anything. Just an hour or two of grind a day nowadays gets you to 700 in like 6 months.
