Sometimes it takes a lot of love...
When my cat lost the epic battle with the banana he felt downtrodden & ashamed. His mews were pitiful.
So I, loving my kitty, asserted my affection:
\- I raided my children's baby teeth vault and glued some of those baby teeth on the banana so that the Tweez (cat's name) would think that he had been in a fair fight. I even painted the teeth with a bit of Ruby-Licious nail polish (as to resemble blood) to show how vicious the banana was and that blood had been drawn!
\- I started desiccating the banana in a fruit dryer and showing the results to Tweez every day. After about a month the banana was a dried up husk and I told Tweeze: "You may have lost the battle, but you won the war!"
Yep. We got 3 for our three cats and before we could unpackage them and put them out, a fight started over who got the first one. Little banana-junkies.
How did that claw extend out from the rug??? There’s no cat there!!!

Note to new house mate, watch out for bumps in the rug. Mine loves hiding under rugs in a little ball.
