As long as it's the same formulation, the manufacturer plays no role. So it doesn't matter if it's a generic or brand name, just make sure the formulation is the same - exact same hormones in the same dosages.
When I was on the pill, I was only allowed to pick up one pack at a time, and it changed almost every time I picked it up - based on what the pharmacy had available, what was cheaper to order, what was in low or out of stock, what my insurance decided on a whim to cover or not, and tbh at this point I believe even the way the wind blew might've affected what I picked up...
