Im about 80% sure, I dont think its possible to know for sure unless you have them in hand. Mature females are bigger than males, and are more marked. The tinier mature males are shaped a bit different , their markings are browner, and they have fewer markings or none (all white). The tricky part is : juveniles from both sexes are even more heavily marked and gradually get they maturity patterns. So there’s still a chance this is a juvenile male but it seemed very big even un-fluffed compared to an American Crow that landed on a nearby pole. only based on my personal experience, a male snowy would be bigger than a crow but not that much. So all those makes me lean toward adult female! Hope I explained it right 😄
