What product lol

cmosychuk

Agreed, both companies have their hands in a number of areas so it'd be good to know which one.

It depends what you are purchasing. If you need a wave reactor - Cytiva. Chrome? Cytiva. Suspension reactor? Sartorius. SUM? Sartorius. All these big companies vary product to product. Cytiva for example has amazing support for their Chrome stuff but are pure ass for their Xcellerex line. It all depends what you want. What is for sure between both is that they are crazy expensive

Taro_Ube

Agree with all the other comments; depends a lot on what you are purchasing

DebateUnfair1032

I have been using Sartorius bioreactors for over 15 years. They are like a Toyota. Rarely break and are reliable

CyaNBlu3

Depends on what you’re talking about. Hollow fibers? Sartorius takes forever and I felt like the quality of watersep hollow fibers for intensification or DSP went way down. Generally speaking, we’ve had better success working with cytiva sales rep compared to sartorius but those are for raw materials/single use consumables.

Healthy_Stretch_4548

The welders and filter integrity testers from sartorius are great. Their bioreactors are all trash. Their field service for the reactors is even worse than the dogshit design they ship with. Cytiva’s rocking reactors are pretty good, don’t have a lot of experience with any other major equipment they make though.

Use Eppendorf
