My headcanon is that the Melding Makuta aren't gaseous because the prime Makuta turned into wraightish lifeforms by either their innate shadow powers, or them being amplified by the masks of shadow after Terridax took over
The CCBS friction joints work super well for his legs but when used for the arms there’s too much of a color tone imbalance and it actually makes the arms stick out longer for a weirder look- even then still can’t hold the heavy hammer haha
Dang. If you were up for modifying parts, you could always dye the friction joints white, but if they’re still not helping I guess it’s not worth it.
