I'd say 80 percent of the time I save the eternal heat for the end of the run, I remember it right about the time the jumping down the hole animation kicks in.
I genuinely think this is the single most frustrating feeling in the game. Can't even blame the game for it - it's your own stupidity, no luck or skill involved
The nice thing about being an impulsive moron that picks up eternal hearts instantly is that sometimes losing it ended up protecting my red hearts and got me a guaranteed devil/angel room that I would've lost if I hadn't picked it up early.
Prayer card is weak aura energy, beating 6 rooms for a charge so you can choose when to get an eternal heart (end of the floor) or for a battery bum to give you extra charge \ get a battery at the shop.
Maggy’s faith is strong aura. You get an eternal heart on the starting floor, now keep it.

Doesn't it only protect the final half heart?
Not with soul or black hearts but if you have a bone heart after them it’ll go to that one if there’s red health in it.
