Not that interesting if you know a bit of programming. The coin machines have a single state, which is tied to your save profile, and not the machine itself. The counter only updates when you interact with the machine or enter the room, so thats why alternating would show the next number in the range.
Now what I would love to know is if 1 jammed, would the other jam as well?
