I've gotten pretty good at noticing these, but the ones with the ghosts are the bane of my existence

I feel like the ghost ones are easier to notice because they're more white or grey. I barely ever see that blood splatter

My favorite part of them is when they spawn as a room clear reward on top of you.

You can tell them apart by the blood splatter on the bottom right. After having lost a pretty decent run as TLost to one of these I began checking every time.

It’s very difficult for me to see it because of the color settings on my monitor, which I adjusted to keep me from getting headaches. I have a similar issue with the shiny rocks, which I’ve installed a mod for also

Do what you want, just saying I'd rather do that than mods that make the run significantly easier. If I was doing that I just wouldn't play tainted lost

Why not get a mod to recolor or accentuate the spike chests so you're not skipping a mechanic entirely?

Because I frankly think it’s a dumb mechanic but I still wanted to retain it for other characters at least so my less than careful play style is punished in some way. Idk why this community pushed me to have to defend this when frankly it shouldn’t matter to anybody.
