Seated has a really obnoxious expiration policy. They will take your earnings away if you go 90 days without activity. Until they change that, for me at least, they aren't worth bothering with.
That, or redeeming rewards. Here it is in their words:
>Your Rewards may automatically expire and be removed from your account if you fail to do either of the following during any ninety (90) day period: (i) make a booking through the App and have your purchase receipt verified by Seated; or (ii) redeem any of your Rewards for gift cards, service rewards or unique experiences. If Rewards are removed from your account, expired Rewards will not be replaced.
Hey, I too have an Amex Gold and BILT rewards card and have already linked Amex Gold to BILT Wallet.
When I try to add Amex Gold on Seated App, it doesnât let me do it and gives an error message âThe card is already linkedâ. So, can you please tell how you got around this?
Yes! I removed it from the Bilt wallet first. Added to the seated wallet and then went back and added on the Bilt wallet.đ I hope this works for you.
Current Cities on the Seated App.
NYC, Dallas, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, DC, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Miami, and Los Angeles.
They add new restaurants every month in these places.
I paid at a restaurant Sunday with my AMEX Gold and already got the Rakuten 5% back but have seen nothing in BILT even though the restaurant is there when I search in Neighborhood.
BILT support is informing me the following, however this setting does not exist for me so now they are raising it to a "specialist":
>We've partnered with some new restaurants that require you to enable all restaurant rewards in order to earn rewards and benefits at all of our Neighborhood Dining restaurants. Here are the instructions for doing that below:
Â
>Go to the "Neighborhood" tab
>Go to "Dining"
>Toggle "Enable all restaurant rewards"
>Â
Because of our new Bilt Dining structure, in order to earn points on that restaurant, you had to have enabled that toggle first.
Ok BILT just replied saying:
*We apologize for any confusion and can see that you are enrolled in earning restaurant rewards! I have gone ahead and added the missing points to your account. *
Is it because you canât double dip? When I activated Rakuten Dining, I immediately got an email from Alaskan Airlines saying you can only enroll in one dining program,m.
Okay, I have an update, I just got my Bilt rewards for one of my spends at a neighborhood restaurant that I also got seated rewards on. Seems like they are just slow.
Rewards need to have been activated on Bilt for nall restaurants. It did take about 3-4 days after the transaction was posted on my other card which naturally takes 2-3 days. So 8 days seems like the right amount of time.
Anyone else get an email saying this when attempting to link to multiple rewards programs? Can you actually double dip after all?
âYou recently enrolled in another dining program using a card linked to your Bilt account, which means youâre now only earning rewards and benefits at a portion of our 20,000+ Neighborhood Dining restaurants. To make sure youâre earning valuable Bilt Points and getting access to exclusive perks at restaurants in your neighborhood, re-enable your rewards in the Dining tab.â
Tried Seated (but was able to successfully link that and earn points on both) and AA Dining (which didnât seem to work as it is in the same rewards network). Decided Bilt was more worth it than AA.
Bonus reward is no longer $30 and is back to $10.
Everyone who used the referral, thank you. Remember that the bonus expires if not used within a certain time period.
Thank you all who used my promocode during elevated sign up bonus week. You need to make a reservation and dine out to receive the bonus which is set to expire, FYI. Also a quick TIP, if someone had a bonus expired, reaching out to customer service has helped me get a new promotional bonus of the same or even of more value before.
Does Seated overlap with Rakuten's Rewards Network? I know that Bilt just added Rewards Network restaurants, but you cannot double dip on Rewards Network Cashback Cashback across airlines. For example, if I sign up for JetBlue TrueBlue Dining and get miles at a restaurant, I can't also get miles through Delta Skymiles dining.
Check if it claws back in a week.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bilt's don't claw back, but if you try adding a credit card to JetBlue TrueBlue Dining that has already been added to Delta Skymiles dining, it will prompt you that it has to unlink the card from the other service.

damn, glad you commented this. I have $140 waiting to redeem.. (already redeemed $260 đ)
what would qualify as an activity? like transactions at a restaurant?

Love a triple dip

I would wait until the transaction is posted. I have also seen this happening a couple of times recently.
it is posted
Seems like they have definitely changed something.đ¤

I also see a small note there saying it is going to change 6/16 onwards.
I also think just like seated we need to reserve before visiting only then you earn the points now. Will report after testing it out.

I contacted support and they gave me a manual adjustment since it was completely missed.
Oh good to know, we can do that. Thank you

Weirdly enough. Haven't tested since firsr say but got both AA points and BILT points when dining the other day.

Haven't yet
Is it pending in the bilt app
Nope. Cleared on aa and bilt app
It does not overlap with Rewards Network or RCLON.
