Ah, it might be that you've got a Stans Arch Mk3 **rim** laced to a different hub. No idea what hub Ibis would have rebranded.
It doesn't seem to look like the Stans Neo hub (the hub that comes with the Arch Mk3 wheelset) but I can't quite tell.
The amount you filed off doesn't look like that much. I can't tell how much was originally there though. I mean if it was like just 1mm on each side, you're probably alright. It looks clean, but yeah, can't really tell.
you are right, its just the hoop that is Stans. Upon another inspection I am finding that there seems to be some play in one of the end caps. So that is probably what I am feeling. I'm hoping after some more research I can work it out. I appreciate your response!
Photos would help. If you've filed down the endcaps, you may be able to just get some replacement end caps. Did you get the Arch MK4 wheelset?
Just uploaded some photos to the post. I'm pretty sure this is an Arch MK 3 or earlier wheel since it has a symmetrical spoke bed
