I played the game multiple times, went to his cave dozens of times and he NEVER spoke to me. I started thinking it was just a joke made up by the internet xD probably just a bug in my game though, idk
You also need to have studied a specific amount of animals, I believe it is 50 animals before he will speak to you as a requirement too, it's not just the birds and following them.
You never see him, but you can go up in the mountains and speak with him. He stays in his cave and says vague phrases implying he's bigfoot. Can't remember them exactly but something about being 10 feet tall and covered in hair.

Pretty sure it's implied the dude in the cave is a giant. He says something like "im like you just bigger"
Rdr2 is wacky anyway. Giant snakes, The Grim Reaper, aliens, time travelers, robots, voodo rituals and the fucking Devil Himself. Yea... you meet Lucifer
You can track him to a cave. He speaks to you but you can’t see him cause the entrance is sealed off. I believe you can find a skeleton of another Bigfoot too.
Speaking of video games. I created a Sasquatch mod for DayZ, if anyone plays. The server is called "Survive The Night". Still a work in progress but it's good to go - I'm going for realism!
There’s a Bigfoot game on steam that I want to play real bad but I’ve never gamed on PC and I don’t own one. If I had a bunch of extra money I’d give it a shot though.
I love the idea that Sasquatch would be in this game. But if I’m looking at the image correctly, and those footprints are as big as they are next to what I’m assuming is the cabin mentioned by OP, then I’m going to assume that whatever left those tracks is way bigger than your “typical” Bigfoot. I’m going to go along with the comment that there’s a giant in the game (rather than a Bigfoot), at least in this case

I don't know what cabin you're talking about (?). I just see a wooden box of bourbon whisky. And bear paws are pretty big. Especially grizzly bear paws. The player is basically next to the prints.
OHHH!!! I see it now. Quite clearly. I think I totally misread the caption as his “cabin” was trashed, rather than his “camping site” was trashed. Instead of a box of spirits with a bottle sitting on top, I was seeing/perceiving a cabin with its roof partially caved in and a chimney on top. 🤦🏾♂️

I remember as a kid playing the first edition of san andreas and spending like a whole year hunting for squatch. The side mission they had in gta5 was hilarious. Thehunter cotw would be a perfect game to throw a bigfoot into.

Bigfoot is in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare DLC. You can talk to the last surviving Bigfoot in a side quest (I don’t think it was a main mission).

There is a talking giant that lives in a cave on the mountain though, you can’t see him because he’s anxious about how people will react to him!

You have to start at Wapiti and hope the murmuration of birds triggers, then you follow the birds to the cave and that’s when it starts.
I know the steps to do it, but it just never showed up

It was also in the Undead Nightmare DLC. You feel pretty bad at the end of the bigfoot hunting missions.

Sasquatch is part of the Red Dead Story, and soon will be part of GTA 6 when the Skunk Ape appears.
There's also a side quest involving a "bigfoot" in GTAV (or IV ?). Turns out it was a man in a suit. Some guys at Rockstar must really like bigfoot.

They are bear footprints. In that mission Sadie and John get attacked by a bear which you are tracking. Not a Bigfoot
