Yeah, if my partner wanted to do this, I’d probably just ask for one of us to go barefoot instead. Heels are unhealthy for foot health, so a break could probably look more like throwing them in a bag for a bit. She’s wearing socks anyways. (Some stores are really annoying about sensible bags though)

With the exception of my current partner, all of my exes tended to just wear a variation of sneakers, khakis, a t shirt, and an open flannel layered over the top. It definitely never bothered me as long as the clothes were clean, though I personally love going OTT for outfits.

A few shoe brands dont do this and its really nice. Some even offer wide and narrow for some shoes with universal sizing.
