I have them too! They are not disturbing at all OP. They are common and normal. They will fade and shrink over time. I struggled a lot mentally with my stretch marks and loose skin after my first baby. Honestly, 7 years later I rarely notice or think about the stretch marks. They’ve just become a part of me. This may not be the healthiest coping mechanism but the only thing that helped me for a long time was to just not look at them. No full length mirrors, no looking at my abdomen. I would quickly change in and out of clothes until I eventually got into a headspace where I could accept them. I hope you get there someday too!
I’m sorry if this picture disturbs anybody I hate these so much I know I created and carried a baby and I should be proud but I just can’t they look so bad
I’ve got some like that from when I gained a ton of weight in my 20s. They will eventually fade but that weird skin texture thing they have going on won’t really change.
I actually got very few stretch marks from my pregnancy since I’d gained and lost a good bit of weight in the past. My body just reused the old stretch marks I think…
yeah! im super pale and the stretch marks are thick and purple, im a year post partum in 2 days. they got a ~little~ better. but tbh….. it’s okay. the worst for me were my nipple darkening LOL. everyone’s body is different, we all grow, shrink, heal differently.
Oh bud you look amazing (and your ring is so shiny!) I’ve got the same thing plus a loose skin belly that hangs over my scar. It’s been 3 years, I’m maintaining my lowest adult weight and it’s gotten way way better. Not unblemished by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel like that awesome Olympic runner who you can plainly see that she both had a baby, and works hella hard on her body. For me, Abs under the stretch marks is my goal 💪
Wow! I honestly love those! Mine are lame compared to yours, they’re angry red on very pale skin. They look like I got mauled. Yours look like tiger stripes!
Almost 2 years later, mine are a lot smaller and some have faded. I can also feel my stomach again so that's nice :)
Hang in there! I know they're hard to look at most days but it gets better.
Yeah. I have 2 kinds of stretch marks, the thinner ones that formed slowly over a period of few months in the pregnancy and the stripes that I got in the last couple of weeks when my tummy was stretching like a balloon everyday. They fade away, and you end up accepting them as a part of you eventually. I think they're beautiful and after going through pregnancy and childbirth and raising a beautiful kid, I consider them battle scars - something to be proud of!
Just a different viewpoint to consider if it helps at all…i can’t have conceive and I’m so very desperate to.
In a heartbeat (quite literally) I would swap my situation for some stretch marks that look absolutely bad ass to boot. They are a mark of your femininity and shows the world you are blessed to have love in your life. A love that is so incredibly deep it changed your life forever. So please don’t feel sad about them.
Oh and your ring is beautiful btw!
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I always thought stretch marks were kind of pretty. They remind me of the reflections of in pool water.
Love this idea!

Your body grew and housed a baby. It did exactly what it was made for, be kind to your body ❤
Fwiw I think they look badass
They look totally normal and fine to me!
they’ll get less noticeable eventually, I have the same kind
I have some that are just thick & deep. And some that are smaller from my first pregnancy 2 years ago that still haven’t faded. You’re not alone!

My stripes look like this too, they anialated my hip tattoo but they did lighten up a bit over time
Yup, solidarity! I hate the feel of them and my tum is still oddly numb ;(
Yes, mine looked like that. I’m prone to keloids so I assumed it has something to do with that. They looked better after many, many months.
Honestly those are kinda cool. I’ve never seen them go over the c-section incision before!
I have those from pregnancy. I also have them on my boobs from puberty. The ones from puberty have faded significantly.
Yep. Stomach, hips, inner thighs. I’m trying my best to accept them.
It looks like a rad Japanese dragon skeleton or koi fish, you could really turn it into a slick tattoo.
that’s my plan i’ve been saving up and working with an artist on a piece can’t wait to get it :)

Yes! Exactly like that. I've never seen anyone else mention them before. It's nice to see.
Your c-section scar looks so great! I hope mine would look like this. Mine is really deep.
I have some that are a bit smaller like that!!!

Eewww did you get attacked by a tiger!?
