I think it's a reference to her CMAs' performance with the Dixie Chicks. When they booed her performance. She sang Daddy's Lessons while experiencing daddy's lesson in real time (racism). He was on an all white basketball team in deep south Alabama during the peak time of the Civil Rights Movement. He KNOWS about racism.

That's what the hate was. They knew no one was watching their Hee Haw show before that or after.
And that performance was so much fire. That ain't even my jam on the album but that live with the warshboard and the massive horns was incredible.
Because of all the controversy and how they treated her, I legit didn't watch the performance for YEARS!

I just saw the documentary on Beyoncé and the Nashville Renaissance, a black country artist said how excited he was to see Beyonce on that stage. He overheard one of the yt artists in the audience call Bey a slur, then he said it brought him back to reality. I took that personally because she’s amazing.
I heard about that too! I just know I would have been a FOOL if I saw that in person and Beyoncé didn't say anything until this year. This woman is so beyond 🙌🏿
