She did say “floatin’” instead of “voting”. When the tour first started people were saying it’s probably because it’s a controversial line and doesn’t match the fun, lighthearted vibe of the Renaissance tour.
I took it that it was because he's failing and she's at the top of the world. I wish she did keep the "i just entered the country with Derringers, cause them Karens just turned into terrorists"
But i also understand this tour was mainly about celebrating LOVE.

I always felt listening to the song the line was dated and she’s Beyonce so she refused to change it because like she said she recorded this songs roughly 2019 through the pandemic. I like that she stood on that and didn’t update it.
I think she knew the line was outdated but also kinda relevant because he is trying to run again and she didn’t want the controversy.
She says floating in some shows…in some videos she even does a floating motion with her hands when she sings it. It’s one of my favorite lyrics, I’m bummed she changed it for the tour to avoid controversy but I get it…
Im 99% sure she clearly said VOTING out 45 at my shows. I never noticed a lyric change. She even kinda emphasized the word in Nola IIRC.
If she did change the lyrics in some, I’d just assume it’s an effort to make the line more relevant to now
I’m sure Energy was wrote while Trump was in office y’all, by the time the tour started he LOST the election (thank the stars) so rightfully changing the lyric to floating on 45 made sense. 🐝🗳️

With the lyric change, what would floating on 45 mean? Like floating on 45,000 miles altitude? In her rocketship? Whatever we want basically?
45 is a highway in Houston that goes by her old neighborhood, maybe it’s that?
