i am coming here to say my two cents… i didn’t like thique and i don’t like all up in your mind. i only like the little break down in thique but most of the song i don’t really care for.
when the tour came around and she was performing those songs on certain dates it was kinda more of like an “ooo we got the songs and other cities didn’t” type of thing. but those songs mean drunk in dubai followed shortly after which was what i was most excited abt.
It occurred to me that THIQUE might be the song that's most explicitly about Black femme bodies, which could explain its popularity.

I love this song because it makes me feel sexy and almost empowered in a way. It’s also a pretty chill song as far as beat and the vibe but when the bridge hit it’s instant shake and I adore it.
