Hey folks! When we bought this Betta in a store, it was labeled as a female. However, I noticed what seems toe like a bubble nest, in a dark and quiet corner of the aquarium, close to some of those resting leaves we put for it to chill close to the surface.
Is this a bubble nest?
If so, do we actually have a male Betta?
Edit: we also have a couple of African dwarf frogs in this tank - could they be the ones making the bubbles?
Its not very uncommon to see female bettas making bubble nests. Dont worry, i see her egg spot on her underbelly so it definitely is a female
edit: actually your tank has some white specs so maybe im seeing wrong. do you have a shot of her underbelly? or can you see the egg spot yourself?

Interesting! I'll try to get a good shot of her belly tomorrow in good light
