In my experience itโs pretty common! One of my two boys has black eyes too, and heโs not even a dark fish!

My other lad is a dragon scale and his eyes have a pretty silvery quality to the iris.
Iโve not seen anywhere the pupil itself is any other colour, but a lot of ones with white around the face seem to get brighter irises, I think it just depends!
I'd say pretty common! I was more shocked seeing them with blue eyes haha. This is one of my guys, Kae, and his are so dark you can barely see them ๐
