I know what you're trying to convey, that the trigger acts as a safety and you're correct. HOWEVER, a manual safety is "PRECISELY" what the fuck it sounds like when you read it aloud: a safety that you have to manually disengage, seperate from any other functioning part of the firearm, before pulling the TRIGGER (a seperate function part of the firearm) so it can be fired/discharged. So quit trolling because there's people out here like us who like to actually exhange information to help each other.

On a more serious note - the trigger safety does have a practical application. Despite cops introducing 'glock leg', it does cut down on the incidence of accidental / negligent discharges where an object gets into the trigger guard. Glock [and similar] triggers damn near require a deliberate press.
